  • This was the craziest day of that year ever

  • I grew up at 173 S. Marr in the 1950s. We had the same type of serious flood one year. That big white apartment building across the street used to be part of a Deep Rock Gas station. The Kirchensteins lived there and owned the gas station. All that's left is the garage. The big houses and lawns and gardens across the street are gone too. I went to school at St. Joes down the street. Whatever happened to Bobby Knipple who lived around the corner on 4th? FdL in the 50s was heaven on earth.

  • O_O I live on Estrbrook rd, WI and why dident we get this flood?

  • O_O I live on Estrbrook rd, WI and why dident we get this flood

  • Damn my basement was so flooded

  • I live in fondy and i went out that night, holy crap, park lane just off of park street (next to dutch gap) was covered in about 5 feet of water...a cop car had stalled there the water covered the lights on top the car...insane stuff.

  • I live in Fond du Lac and I am 1 of many that know this flood was devastating

  • i live in fdl to and i lost my house in the flood it was scary

  • I also live in FDL and thank god the flooding didn't get any worse than it did, i live right behind the sheriffs Dept and near the river which didn't do too much damage with the exception of a few apts on the lower level.

  • That was YOU with the camera?Wowz,i was riding my bike and seen someone with a camera :D

  • i live in FDL to :)

  • lmao i wou;ld have got one of those wal mart rafts and had a little fun flood+rope+raft+car adds up to a good time lmao

  • Missed it all, worked from 4pm-12:30am, so I left as it started raining, got out after the storm. Caught in the water, though.

  • I'm supposed to go there 2 see my cousin this week :( Dunno if we can do that anymore

  • Sure you can, we're doing very well recovering.

  • that's good to know :)

  • Also I Wanted to know if milwaukee is okay cuz that's where we land

  • Milwaukee is okay, but there are some counties in between Fondy and there that are still under a state of emergency.

  • Still flooded over here. God, I'm glad our sump pump is working!

  • my daughter had to walk a good way last night, she works at buckle..her car started today, but is soaking up the water on the floor..she walked about five miles in high heels! we live in the UP, can`t help her much

thank god her car is ok..

  • yeah, martin and pioneer streets were like rivers! martin litterally had a current! that was most definatly a crazy nite!

  • Fond du Lac is really the fond du lac right now. I hope my husband can fly out of there tonight and come home.

  • Clean up has been rather speedy, but we're expecting more rain today and we're under a new flash flood warning right now. I hope he can get out before it starts raining again. :) Good luck!

  • Whew! No rai, be thankful your husband can make it.

  • we tried getting a bowling alley... but we couldnt get down the road passed johnson... its horrid! awesome vid, i am gonna make one later myself with pics

  • Thanks, I think the footage gets extra emotion when it's taken by someone affected. The good news is that they pumped the water out and now people are cleaning up down my street.

  • thats good.. cause i am still stuck in town, the road i need to get to chilton is flooded yet

  • ahh my home town has turned into a big lake! thanks for the sharing the footage it beats the Reporters pics
