  • good video..I was able to do the same thing you did. I was using photoshop 7

  • It must have been harder to use PS in the past. With the 800x600 resolutions that were once the norm.

  • ABROR

  • Awesome, thank you so much

  • My wind is just grayed out.. :( what do i do

  • your computer sucks dude

  • @nlvguy no it doesn't

  • @Monkeyboy92037 i am talking to the video maker who you but the computer sucks

  • @nlvguy stop insulting my computer, shitass

  • @Monkeyboy92037 no ok then fuck you ass hole and it is true

  • @nlvguy lick my shit, cumrag

  • @Monkeyboy92037 lick mine it is green fuck you niger

  • @Monkeyboy92037 no like fuck me and you

  • @Monkeyboy92037 by the way i posted this 3 month ago why now

  • @nlvguy get off my lawn

  • How can I do 6:33 to 6:42 ....?

  • Comentários constrituvos para pessoa como tu que nem consegue seguir um tutorial e faz as afirmações que fazes são uma autentica perda de tempo. Caladinho está tu o burro vê o tutorial e vais ver que funciona.

  • RuiDores, stay out of Photoshop, clearly you don´t have any skills to work with the program.

  • One of the first tutorials i try years ago. Was because of tutorials like these ones that i learn so mucha about Photoshop.

  • i have a question

at about 4:25 he presses a button called liquify

on photoshop cs4 i cant find it.

    where can it be

    plz answer

  • @traeholt1 It´s not a button is a Filter. You will find it under the filter menu. Adobe change the location of Liquify several versions ago. Since CS its on Filter menu. I can recall but i believe in Photoshop 7 was already there.

  • ThankX & very Good Yaar Keep"D" up

  • Awesome LOVE it!!!!!!!!! thnx so much for sharing

  • Don't like the black and gradient part, looks crappy with mine but good none the less!

  • oh hi so cooool! awesome! it works for me...

though it's not as good as yours but i would love to show it to you

    where can i send it

    thank you

  • i cant hear clear if all layers merge then?? what to do?

  • tell me exactly how u changed color to black in 6:40 mins PLZZZ

    thx

  • such a calm voice mmmmm

  • Awesome!

  • this really shows you do not need a good computer or software to create a masterpiece.

  • hammer6776 HOLD ONTO YOUR MOUSE BUTTON AND THEN DRAG YOUR MOUSE ICON DOWN :)

  • @jaypizaye huh :D ?

  • Hey can you give me a list, step by step for this procedure?

  • @Luistaker07 yeah sure watch the vid...

  • I also can't make the step at 1:59. I have PS 7.0 and can't hold alt and select merge visible, the menu disappears when I press alt. when I merge anyway, only the locked background remains. Started over, watched your vid, many times--wrote down every step while pausing the vid. New to working in layers, frustrated.

  • @hammer6776 When you click on the Layer button while holding the alt key, you must keep the left mouse button held down the whole time intill you rollover the Merge Visible button.

If that doesnt work try holding alt down, and push Ctl+Shft+E (PC) or i assume Opt+Apple+E (MAC) WHILE holding down alt.

This is for Photoshop CS3 and i would guess it would be the same for Photoshop 7.0 as well.

  • @hammer6776

Just duplicate the other layers and merge those with the Layer one ( CTRL + E ) :)

  • i cant make the step at 1.59

  • You may have missed a step. Don't give up.

  • @gurksam dude just explore.. me too, first i was confused.. but i found and i made it like what he did..

  • heheeheh Awesome I LEARNED

  • Liquify is in Filter, if you are using cs3 / cs4.

  • i don't have liquify

  • wtf?

    in image i don't have

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH

  • I'm using cs4 and the wind option is not available! What do I do???

  • re download?

  • thats one old mac

  • Doesn't work at all :-(

Since when does the merge layers action do that?

the hue/saturation doesn't work like that either...

    bah, giving up on life...

  • Follow it step by step. If it didn't work, this tutorial wouldn't be so popular. Don't give up.

  • @RuiDores if you are using cs4 or cs5 you should not use merge visible but use apply image instead. . .

  • @RuiDores Since ever. LOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • whenever i try to turn the font into black the whole screen just turns into black?

  • how do you swap the font color into black? Personally, I just hit on the (T) key, then, dragging my mouse over the text, select it... done that, click on that color picking box above (Foreground/Background colors selecting box works too), then hit Enter n' that's it...

  • If I go to the hue/saturation box and change the hue or saturation nothing happens....

  • sorry, but... in which step of the tut you do that hue/sat changes? (I hope you understood what I said, 'cause my english is kind of rusty...), reply me via message or PM and I would help you

  • ***PEOPLE TALKING NONSENSE QUESTIONS***

    Q.This is made in CS4?

A.Like the description says it can me made from V6.0 and UP. so that means it can be done in 7.0, CS1,CS2,CS3,CS4!! DON'T ASK

    ***************************************

  • my wind filter is disabled, what should i do to enable it?

  • does this work on cs2 ?

  • is that maked on photoshop cs4?

  • omg.

it doesn't work on my photoshop 7.0

when i "merged visible" i cant go on Transform

  • thats probably because the layer has become locked, in order to transform it you have to copy that locked layer, then you will have a layer you can edit.

  • After merge visible i cant "Rotate"

  • do the same thing on cs3 (idk about others)

  • when i use the gradiant tool i get an outlined orange not white then black

  • i like this guy's voice, he doesn't cough or go "uhhmmm, yeahhh" every 30 seconds. awesom :b.

  • This guy did not make this video!! He got it from a different website

  • I apologize, I almost wrote an inappropriate comment.

  • hu ever is stuck on 1:55 u have to hold down ctrl and hold click on layer anddrag down to merge visible

thanks for sharing such a great technique.

  • does it work on photoshop CS2?? :S

  • I find it =)

    nice video by the way

  • I have photoshop CS2 and I cant find the thing when I am going to do the fun part

  • Filter>Liquify.

    ;)

  • oh yes I have a question!

what if I need the word with the fire effect without the background(png)? The hue-saturation/colorize option doesn't work if there's no background!

Can anybody help me please? I'll appreciate it!!

  • if you have your background on a different layer, then just shut off that layer and go to File -> Save as... and choose .png option. you wull have then a little box with 2 options: click on "interlaced" (my Photoshop is in spanish, and I don't know if that's what you'll read when you use it), and that's all

  • OHH MY FUCKING GOD!!! When i Merge new layer visible all layers are go to background and i cant transform to 90CW! HELP ME!

  • I used it once before, but now i have the reflection with it!

  • i cant use the gradient tool!!

help, it doesnt happen anything in the layer mask, but in the "history" it says Gradient Tool

  • dude i figured my problem out.. i dont know if you have the same problem but my problem was that i had the "mode" of the gradient tool on "color burn" you have to have the mode on normal so it interacts with the mask :)
