Actually, there was nothing wrong with that singing.. just a bit much vibrato.. which u might not notice if you where on the concert and the vibrato is there all the time.. In fact, his note on 0.59 is out of pitch comparing the place Portnay makes the face. And the face probably had nothing to do with Labris singing.

He thought the others would support him by taking a break with him, as a band, but they wished him well and continued without him. After a break he will hopefully return to Dream Theater. Also, I'm assuming you mean Portnoy and Petrucci are the two main artists? Don't discredit Rudess or Myung, they're both amazing. LaBrie... less so. But great nonetheless.

Sure LaBrie came in at an appropriate time as far as the beat goes, but there was a typical long DT instrumental break right there that LaBrie skipped entirely by going into the last verse right there. In other words, he shouldn't have been singing right there, and Mike was a little irritated that he didn't get to play a solid 4 more minutes of music because of that mistake.
