My prediction is a Pacman win over Cotto. Maybe by stoppage from tko or cut around 6-9th round. Pacquiao is gonna use some uppercuts, try to stay off the ropes, turn Cotto and of course use his blazing speed. And yeah Cotto is bigger maybe 7-10pnds heavier on fight night. Cotto can win if he keeps lots of pressure using lots of body punches and keeps a good guard watchin out for uppercuts. Either one can make a mistake but the edge goes to Pacman.
Pac will use sum uppercuts in the fight n try to stay off the ropes, turn Cotto n of course use his speed. Cotto is stil bigger, he may way 7-9 pnds more than Pac on the day of the fight. Pacs walking wt. might be sumwere round 148 Cotto's maybe 155-157. Pac should be able to pull a win, maybe a tko stoppage or cut stoppage between the 6th-9th round. These are all just guesses.

Honestly, pacquiao has changed much since that fight. All his disadvantages during that fight are no more. We've seen how he greatly improved in his latest fights and how he became a tactician and a great finisher. There's no doubt that cotto will be knocked out for sure.
But i still believe cotto has the power that could stun pacquiao. But his power shots will not be new to the pacman. We all know that.

They key is that none of them could finish Cotto off and at least two of them are good finishers. I don't see Manny being faster than Judah/Mosely as far as hand speed is concerned & the thing that Cotto has shown is that he can adjust-Manny has not (Marquez) although recently he hasn't had to.

My prediction is a Pacman win over Cotto. Maybe by stoppage from tko or cut around 6-9th round. Pacquiao is gonna use some uppercuts, try to stay off the ropes, turn Cotto and of course use his blazing speed. And yeah Cotto is bigger maybe 7-10pnds heavier on fight night. Cotto can win if he keeps lots of pressure using lots of body punches and keeps a good guard watchin out for uppercuts. Either one can make a mistake but the edge goes to Pacman.

Pac will use sum uppercuts in the fight n try to stay off the ropes, turn Cotto n of course use his speed. Cotto is stil bigger, he may way 7-9 pnds more than Pac on the day of the fight. Pacs walking wt. might be sumwere round 148 Cotto's maybe 155-157. Pac should be able to pull a win, maybe a tko stoppage or cut stoppage between the 6th-9th round. These are all just guesses.

....the fight between Pacquiao and Cotto is just like Colt .45 against a machine gun....in fire fight i would prefer to have a machine gun, therefore i predict that Pacman will win in a knockout or by stoppage by the referee....i think Pacman is smarter and have a heart to finished his opponent when he sees weakness....that makes him a very a very dangerous oppoent...i agree with you Pacman 2 to 1...you're very intelligent,,,,^_^

ahmm honestly, the pacquiao-marquez thing should is a way too far to be discussed.
Honestly, pacquiao has changed much since that fight. All his disadvantages during that fight are no more. We've seen how he greatly improved in his latest fights and how he became a tactician and a great finisher. There's no doubt that cotto will be knocked out for sure.
But i still believe cotto has the power that could stun pacquiao. But his power shots will not be new to the pacman. We all know that.

agree with most of your breakdown except for the chin thing; sure Cotto's been wobbled by some guys with big punches, 2 of those guys are/were pretty slick & the other is extremely heavy handed at 140. They key is that none of them could finish Cotto off and at least two of them are good finishers. I don't see Manny being faster than Judah/Mosely as far as hand speed is concerned & the thing that Cotto has shown is that he can adjust-Manny has not (Marquez) although recently he hasn't had to.

Beautiful analysis and brilliant delivery. I love seeing a natural at work. I personally think Cotto wins by ko/tko in 9 due to thinking that Pac does not have the style that's given Cotto the most trouble (margo, ndou, clottely). Speed could be a factor come Nov.14th but timing is everything. Great job again and good luck to both fighters.

Good analysis!! But as much as i love how it plays out in theory, is totally different than what the actual fight will be like, obviously. Anything can happen. People thought marquez was gonna give floyd a bit of trouble and looked like marquez was fighting blindfolded and floyd landed any shot he wanted. The fight is only a week away and my heart beats fast as hell whenever i come across another youtube video of the outcome of the fight. I cant wait!!!
