what I know is that when you have you max health in 100 that should be how much your heath before you activate ad +2

You have to break his horns, so you get them in the reward, otherwise the armor won't show up

i dont recomend diablos chao coz it is hard to make i recomend is dragon demolisher it has no negative afinity and plus it has 936 attk right below avrge but dont forget the high dragon attribute and blue sharpness

it should go well with full akantor sharpness +1 earplug and reckless +3(gemmed)

The diablos chaos broker reacts well to expert and potential bringing the damage from it higher than the dragon demolisher can reach.

I'd think that, because the Rajang armor gives you Adrenaline, which only activates when your health gets low, that it would be ideal to give him a slight edge, if not risky. That or he's just showboating.

You don't need guard up to fight akantor. With guard+2, not a single move does damage if you're blocking with lance/gunlance. Not even sonic boom or charge. The only thing that can hit you is the fatigue gas when he come out of the ground.

1) Throw lots'o flashes, get stuff to make more,

2) Don't get greedy with your attacks! Only attack when you are safe for sure.

3) Look when to attack on guides ( or on this movie lol )

4) Get enuff potions

5) If all of this does not works, get urself a Gunchariot! Just Block 'n Poke his belly with Guard + or guard up.

It starts with Hard bone hammer (afaik this was the name lol). Then just upgrade to the diablos hammer.

What does adrenaline and heroics do? =P i dunno the english skill names since i play japaneese... and i can fight akantor (almost) as well as you do, but it still takes about 25 mins... this is because of not having adrenaline or heroics? or simply because im playing MHP2G and perhaps Akantor is stronger here? btw, i used Blacksmith. 1196 raw , white sharpness with 20% affinity... what does affinity do anyway? lol

Adrenaline & heroics buff your attack for about 90%. That means 190% atk instead auf 100%. But in MHP2G you can't have both activated at the same time, obviously it was too powerful.

I killed Akantor in MHP2G in 8 minutes with DCB maxxed out (1540~ atk) without have adrenaline/heroics. So you should be able to do it in 15min more or less.

Affinity is the critical % of your weapon. If you your hit is critical it deals 25% more damage.

I can't write japanese caracters but I'll tell you how i recognize heroics, it's really easy: It has got the symbol of "PI" (number pi) at the end.

The regular Akantorarmor has been nerfed in 2G but the white Akaarmor has got quakeproof, artisan and esp.
