I am a title holder for the Miss America Organization and I know for a FACT that we would not hire any judge that would dock a girls swimsuit score down because she lacked calves. As for the prettiest out of the top 15, if you knew what our organization stood for, then you would know that she won through merit and she is gorgeous, but looks does not win you the title alone. This is not a donald trump pageant.

Bottom Line--As a state and local pageant, and have been at the pageant all week,I have to ask why was Miss Misissippi and Miss P. R. as well as Miss Ct. not in top 15--If you lookat Miss Ct in the parade of states --She came across as so so classy --Just the tone of her voice--She seemed to be saying __Here I am folks your next Miss America --Mississippi,and Ct had great talents!!!

Very good performance. I am so glad that she won. It's incredible. She is a friend of mine. She was the overall best of the night. What many people don't know is they interview these girls ahead of time and that goes into the score as well. Miss Virginia won and she was the best!

I just wanted to give you some info I got from the pageant today --There was no Prof of Music or Prof of the performing arts at the 2010 pageant --Next year and in the future there willbe a judge from a major performing Arts School --Such as Jullard or The Eastman School of Performoing Arts. This is great --We will have someone on the panel who know all areas of talent, such as who has range, vocal control, and also will know about dance , as these schools know about all areas or the P A

I have judged state pageants for over 40 years --With taht experence i can say as many other of my fellow state judges --Miss Virginia was a tip 15 --THAT IS IT!!! Miss Virginia was was mot the most beautiful contestant. Her talent was good --Her legs were way to thin(know Calves) and her gown looked like a prom dress--Her state pageant advisors gave her very bad advice in choice of gown. The Miss America Pageant is not simply about talent or beauty. Miss America is a spokeswoman for the program and with that being said, I think how Caressa Cameron represents the program is more important than if she wore a "prom dress". You make the program seem so superficial when it really is not.

She was certainly a worthy winner. Overall talent...pageantry aside, she was good, a little pitchy. But, for a pageant talent she was great. And, you guys are right, we don't see the interview, so we don't know. The Miss VA staff is great and she had some awesome trainers. I believe this is one of the only songs that she has ever used, but I am not sure. Pitchy or not, she is a sweet girl and I am happy to see her dream come true.

The Lifestyle & Physical Fitness portion of the competion or "swimsuit" competition as most people know it is a very MINOR percentage of the contestants OVERALL score. 15% as a matter of fact.
