Boone Hall is in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, just outside of Charleston. If I remember correctly, they do not allow you to film inside. You pay for admission at the gate, which is pretty steep. Tours inside are part of the admission.
It's a private home! Not a State park!

Where going there in a week we have passed it several times. Drayton Hall in Charleston SC is also nice and "The Patriot" was filmed there.
