Stumbled upon the Cows playing in a dive bar back around 1996 when I was living in Minneapolis. Excellent band. I told their guitarist and their singer Shannon how great I thought they were. Guitarist said thanks, Shannon shook my hand and stared at me for literally 5 minutes. I left the bar and looked through the window only to see him still staring. Great stuff!
