proud2baconservative, Michael English has an affair with Amy Grant in the 90's and he completely disappeared from public eye for a long time. I actually saw a Gaither Homecoming about a year ago and he is back with the group and I think he sounds better than ever! I'm glad he's found the Lord again!

What video was this on? I have seen the Gaithers live on four occasions and they either sang this one or played it over the PA...and I always find myself singing along! Plus I love Russ Taff and I miss Vestal! But I believe she's in the choir up there now.

tears came to my eyes, as I saw Vestal Goodman sing into that song. I played it many times on The Gospel Radio Stations that I was on in Jacksonville, Fla. The early albums were The Happy Goodman Family. I have met Vestal, Her hubby, and Rusty many times, and even worshiped together with them. Vestal had a deep seeded love for God. I met so many Gospel singers that just were not the real deal, but Vestal Goodman was it. She gave me a handcerchief???? that she prayed for me with, and it"s a token
