Actually, state takes many more community college equivalents as transfer credits...which is ok until it gets to the science courses, which reflects badly on state standards...hey, I'm a product of NEMCC before transfer to Ole Miss, so I'm not hating on anyone, but Ole Miss really is the flagship university in MS. Southern Miss. has a top science dept.! Really, state is about the 3rd best school in MS.
