A buddy of mine worked at a carnival for a summer. and quit .he was to nice of a guy,and the boss would tell him do what ever you have to do to get people to play.

Thats why you hear so many carnys say win one for your girlfriend cheapskate.its only a buck even you can afford that.

Yeah, I win at the skee ball every year. I learned how to play it over my childhood. this perticular one, they give you more balls then you actually need. I always get the largest prize. all you need to do is ever so slightly throw the ball to your left, and you could get the small hole. I have a very good amount of skill, so I win the big one after a few tries.

The games are rigged so it's almost (but not quite) impossible to win. Like hoopla, for example, the ring has to hit the prize at a single specific angle to go completely over the prize. The carnies stay just within the law, beacause it is not impossible to win, but it IS extremely unlikely and improbable!

It may seem you have a high chance to win, but most of the people who do are shills. How else do they make money, if every other person could win a huge 20 dollars stuffed animal?

haha its true you dont even need to try to win those! i was playing the one where you get a goldfish and it was almost time for the carnival to close so the lady said if i gave her 3 dollars or something she'd let me have a gold fish no matter what plus like, 15 balls or something so me and my friend were randomly throwing them every where and i ended up winning one for her and me!
