i agree with everyone that says they were trying too much to be up to date, screaming contest ... the original has that harmony that just leaves you in a trance and this one is just another trying too hard performance.

however, i loved the trumpet work and violins (i think) from 1.20-1.33.

i actually thought this was going to be good at first...but then they overdid way too much. the original was meant to be sweet and peachy (like Georgia..hahaha...). it's a memory song, not a 'let me show the world how high and loud i can do a vocal vibrato'. there is a time and a place for that style. this song is not where that style belongs. at certain points it sounded like keys and foxx were trying to outdo each other. ugh. gag me with a spoon.
