I will miss the passion and energy, and damn, those eyes! Andy was the perfect Spartacus. Masculine and intense but could also give us a gentle, caring warmth. He had the look of experience. Liam was good in the first episode but he looks younger then everyone else who is suppose to be his peers. That will take some getting used to.

But Andy will always be an unmatched original.

I freakin' LOVE this scene.

Especially the part when Crixus tries to act like he's in charge

with the new recruits when it's time for them to eat and Spartacus

owns his ass and puts him in his place. There and here.

I eventually grew to like Crixus because he has heart, but I was glad

when he got his ass kicked here for being too much of an asshole.

Best series on television, but won't be the same without our brother

Spartacus was the brain behind everything his superior warfare and the Romes underrestimation of him and the rebelios slaves is why spartacus was so succesful. @raidendwayne21 Well there are 4 great characters which are pretty much equal. Between Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus and Onemeaus anyone could won. Spartacus has determination, attacking skills and luck, Crixus has strength and passion, Gannicus has agility and speed, Onemeaus has experience and mentally great. So that would be a close match but I think Spartacus would be one step above since he's the legend world still talks about.

Crixus indeed is a charismatic character but he's also pretty dumb, Spartacus was also a accomplished leader with brains that's why he could stand much longer and became a legend.

Spartacus wished to leave because he knew their army could be no match to Romans. And then you've also got to consider all that time spent in the Pits.And then all of the arena fights Spartacus took on by himself after becoming champion, most being handicap. I'm not doubting Crixus's fighting ability, but the man is clearly driven by his pride when he fights, where as even in the first arena fight when Spartacus was supposed to lie down and die, he fought with his wits.
