By any chance would you know why my acceleration seems so slow and my crown vic seems to switch gears slower if i have a high flow Magnaflow exhaust setup and K & N CAI ? (any possibility its the fuel filter or injectors) plz help me out

@SuperMan88Strong im not sure why its taking to long to shift. maybe your getting on it hard and it fevs a little higher between changing gears? and what size pipes do you have? on one of my other vics i had 3" and there wasnt enough back pressure and caused the motor to bog down bad. thats not good it can blow your motor quick.

@SuperMan88Strong i have heard different things, also someone told me it matters weather you have a civilian crown vic or a police interceptor.. the shop that did my current vic with flows straight pipes no cats air intake mod and the chip he said its between 3 and 350hp im not sure how honest he was though.

thats a police interceptor they came without resonators so they sound alot more hardcore overall, when you add nice mufflers they are monstrous, you think a 'stang is headed down the road only to look up and find what seems like cops... but then you realise damn, that sucka got mufflas

@82jh Yea, the charger only been around for like 3 years,I been seeing them sold for a year now there very rare too get! I got one right off the lot all brand new I was lucky it cost me 32,000 but a used one with like 1000k goes easy 15,000!

what is the color code of this crown victoria. I have one like it but i need to know the color to get my trunk repainted. i tried to find the information by looking at the tag on the driver side door but mine is faded. The color code is on the driver side door and it will say exterior paint or ext.

This sorta makes me miss my caddy deville. I straight piped it and it sounded good as fuck. It had the 4.9L v8. It wasn't fast or anything just a nice cruiser. I have a 350z now but i still kinda miss the v8 sound.

yes sir everything but the exhaust was stock if i remember right. i got rid of the car a whole back ago. if i ever get a decent camera ill get a vid of my current vic. no cats 2 40 series flowmaster mufflers. it sounds way better than this one : )

my new vic is an 01, the shop i talked to said the biggest pipes i could do is 2" , i just found out from another place i can go bigger. so im going to go there and have bigger pipes put on. as far as smog i had the cats put back in for that. in cali if you fart during a test the car fails lol, i've never been in a marauder the town cars are nice. i was looking at t birds before i got my vic. wanted one with a v8 but couldnt find one. how do you like yours?

don't let a shop tell u what u can/can't do. that's why is called 'custom', unless the shit won't fit. i like my bird. i dropped it w/ sway bar, springs, adj konis. engine is stock w/ jba mustang 4.6 stainless headers, stock cats, 2.5" piping off headers w/out the resonator into a 3" primary and 2.5" out to 2 40 series flows which i had installed in '00. when i've got the $, i want to check out coilovers or diff springs/airbags..too bumpy at times. i want it stiff but comfortable.
