I am so glad I saw this! I used to watch The Worst Witch every day after school on HBO a long time ago, and I never could remember what the show was called. So this made me pretty happy :P :)
Also, we say her hair was in a bun ever sence she had her first hair and she never took it out. She uses a charm to watch it. (Note: She played on Gryfandor Quiddich team. If u don't beleve us, watch in movie #1 when Hermione points out "James Potter" plaque. To the Top-Right of it there is a Plaque that reads "M. G. McGonagall". It's really hard to read!)

McGonagall was her because underneath the name it says I think 1970 or 1971, and Minerva McGonagall was teaching at Hogwarts then because she was also James Potter's teacher who's name appeared on the plaque and underneath it said 1971. It must have been a relative because it is too recent to have been her.

This is COMPLETELY different than our story, where McG (McGonagall) is really 33, she just looks old, rides a unicycle, LOVES choclate milk, thinks a kid lives in her Garbage Desposal (For which her parents thought she was crazy, they were right), married Snape, wanted to go on her honeymoon in the Desposal, and gave birth to Hermione. We are trying to make this movie. MCG is AWESOME!!!
no, I think it was extremely decent of her. very admirable. Snape is a rip-off of HB anyway. Not that I dislike Harry Potter - but HB is the real McCoy.
i knew that she was going to but turned it down due to her loyalty to Worst Witch but I never knew that the role was McGonnagal. I always thought it would have been Bellatrix or something. That would have been good if she was McGonagall.
But Maggie Smith is a brilliant actress and I admire Kate Duchene for her loyalty. She sounds like a Hufflepuff anyway ^_^ *insert sad joke here*
Actually, I'm sure you kind of did this for fun, but McGonagall's story hasn't been revealed by J.K. Rowling. We don't know much about her past. I should know, she's my favorite character.
Kate Duchene wanted to be faithull to The Worst Witch and I think she was right. And plus, she can't be portraying witch for ever ;) And she i sbrilliant actress and very nice person too.
