@Dynamiteskillsx It's an Alvarez RC20SCL, and yes it is in standard tuning for the video. The evidence I've seen is that Mike Einziger plays this song in standard tuning as well.

To play this song, you strum the single notes with down strokes, and all the accents with down strokes. Other than that, you just use alternate strumming techniques and let your wrist flow with the music.

It's an A7 (major/minor) and then you just pull off the note on the B string a couple times, just listen to song for the rhythm.
