  • God DAMMIT, Billy Riddle!

  • Wow, this is depressing, I also live in this town. A lot of the residents have deep southern drawls and come off as retards. Not everyone in this town is like that, as there are several productive members of society.. such as myself. However, after I finish my BA, I am so out of here.

  • this documentary is awesome. im actually watching it right now. To sammy: keep bustin ass and spin billy riddle a few times for me

  • Someone should drop a bomb on Anderson and rebuild the whole city

  • this is such a funny doc good old boys are so dumb ..........2 thumbs up!!!

  • good people hit with hard times. god bless them they dont give up.

  • I can't tell you how proud I am that I live in the town where a document about racing POS cars and a failing economy is the focal point.

  • @gazer731 If i lived in that town I'd eitther move or hang myself. What a depressing shithole.

  • I saw this...

    ...freaking hilarious...

  • Anderson is still going down hill belive me i live there and this is fun to go see although alot has changed and it is kind of a ghost town and once u come here to live ur pretty much stuck because u cant find a job to move out and there are alot of people that have moved and are still moving our goverment is corrupt around here and alot of people actually moved and this is about the only release that people have around here and its the only thing they cant take away from us is our cars and trak

  • this video is freaking funny, a bunch of drunk red necks trying too race.

  • Actually, they are skilled amateur drivers. Not that an illiterate moron like you would understand that. I wonder if life in the ghetto is better? Idiot.

  • Ya, esp. when Billy Riddle wins and starts shouting "I'm number 1, I'm the best1". Hicks don't get HBO so they don't even know the worlds laughing at them...

  • i live in anderson, its full of red neck hillbillies.anderson speedway (sunvalley back in the day)is a joke!!!!

  • Screw all the haters. Those "rednecks" are racing, and having allot of fun doing it.

    BTW I've been to Anderson, it's not a hick-town.

  • I was born and raised there, moved away about ten years ago and recently went there for a family thing, and it's more a hick-town than ever. The factories closed down more than twenty years ago and the city has never recovered even really tried to develop any other type industry to support its economy.

  • Great seeing people still stoked on doing what they love, even given the economic climate these days. However, I am really not sure who "they" are that will take their fun away. Maybe "The Man" or "The Banks" or "The Government". I hate anti-establishment (A-E) comments when the people that make them have no idea why they feel that way. A-E stuff has it's place but often gets marginalized by folks that sound like yokels. Thats my piece, peace out.

  • rednecks

    lol

  • This documentary definitely made Anderson look worse than it is. I've lived here for 17 years and didn't even know that track existed until recently.

  • What a bunch of rednecks. Hilarious.

  • look at the comment below, then look at the name that sent it.

  • they made us all look like a bunch of hicks...we dont all flock to the damn track thats people from towns around us

  • Thumbs up for the accuracy of that statement. I don't think any of the people on this show are from Anderson. They look more like residents of Frankton or Elwood to me. Wow.. this show reeeally makes our city look awful. Jesus.....

  • OMG i was thinkin the EXACT SAME THING WHEN I SAW THIS.lol

  • Love this movie <3

  • for those of you who have never been to small town track like anderson, you dont know what your missing...

  • i dont live in anderson, but im at the track every saturday night... for those of you who have never witnessed small town racing, you dont know what your missin...thats what indiana is truly about...just havin fun..no matter what it is

  • I happen to see this show on HBO a couple weeks ago, and it was awsome !!

I live near the Greenville/Pickens Speedway in South Carolina and we have races (and people) just like the ones in the show.

I'd love to get a copy of the DVD. Does anyone know where I could get it fairly cheap...???

    ~Psycho DaN

  • Hey there everybody this is Sammy Hawkins from the show Dirty Driving thundercars of indiana.I admit the movie only shows a part of anderson but the nestle plant everyone keeps talking about wasnt arround during the filming which started in 2004-2005 and the new casino.all we really have is stores and restraunts and we cant all flip burgers and say welcome to walmart would you like a cart.If the people of anderson wont tell the facts then i will.i wont sugar coat it so you can all kiss my ass!!!

  • Which dump ugly SOB are you?

  • Hey sammy, Watched the show and loved it man ,hope things are getting better ,keep your head up ,and they can all kiss your ASS !!!!!

  • If one were to search for a classy gal from Anderson on craiglist, would one seach for All Indiana? just checkin.... for a friend.

  • ha! classy gal in anderson...good luck with that!!!!

  • and people make fun of west virginia....

  • what utter bullshit

I live in Anderson, and that is not what this city is like

    thats just one sided shit

only the hardcore rednecks go to the track

  • im from anderson and all i can say is they just filmed one side of town.

    racist bastards.

  • I am from Anderson, even though it didn't do our city any justice, this movie is downright hilarious.

  • How can I get a Sammy Hawkins T-Shirt!

  • HBO has the best documentaries! they dont tell people what to say or form opinions they show things the way they are. all of their documentaries!

  • come on they focused on for sale signs the whole movie, havent you read the posts on here? they totally made the place look like a soon to be ghost town, when in reality the place has actually improved economically since the filming? did you even watch the movie? so leading it was kind of embarassing.

  • And in what way has it improved? Anderson's population is still shrinking. Towns with recovering economies don't continue to lose residents. HBO didn't "totally make Anderson look like blah blah", they're just portraying the cold harsh reality. If that happens to be negative then that's Anderson's problem, not that of HBO or any other TV station.

  • Sammy Hawkins is the fuckin man imo.

  • Ricky-Bobby yew "R" high class! LOL

  • white trash!!

  • Oh, my God! They've gone and filmed "Deliverance" again!

  • this is by far the greatest thing ive ever seen on tv. halarious, but they need to show hawkins get his ass wooped

  • Oh, my God! Everyone has to see this. They've gone filmed "Deliverance" again.

  • I am from Noblesville Indiana which is just 20 minutes west of Anderson and have family that have lived there their whole lives. This movie is absolutely hysterical but shows a poor interpretation of the area in general. It makes the whole place look like its full of poverty ridden people. Indiana is not all like this but definitely has its fair share. To all watching just know there is still class here in Indiana.

  • not from what iv seen lol ever time i go to Indiana i see ppl just like that toothless hillybilly rednecks maybe i need to get out of the lil towns there like shirley and new kastle lol

  • BuckWild31692, you can't even spell "castle" you dumb fuck! Maybe you should go educate yourself before making fun of somebosy else.

  • I am from Anderson, IN and all I can say is that I was horrified after watching this documentary. HBO did not do Anderson any favors!

  • no they sure didnt LOL im have to go to Anderson Indiana in december and after i seen this doc. i was more than excited LOL im from South Carolina and iv never seen this kinda redneck shit

  • fast cars and hot women

  • Did you watch the video, hot women. Hot women, where. They are all low class disgusting, swearing, dirty, smoking, trailer trash.

  • I know man, I just watched it, there was so many missing teeth. lol

  • the trailer doesnt do the show justice. i can't say i am better than these people but i can identify...and..well..say that i am a bit above

    all that.

i removed myself from a region(east texas) that was exactly like that.

    overall a really good documentary.

  • Definitely worth a watch. Very funny. Very rough bunch of people, but I would love to go see some of that racing!! Also, that was a chicken s#$t move in the end. I'm betting there was an ass whoopin sometime after.

  • Good show but I have never sen so many ignorant people who use so much profanity, were so ugly and so angry. They look inbred. I feel sorry for the poor kids with parents like the ones I saw on this show.

  • I'm from Anderson. Though the likes of Delco is long gone, there are still jobs and thriving businesses in the town that the producers have failed to mention. Nestle has built a very large factory in Anderson, the horse track has expanded into a large casino and many other small manufacturers have moved into the town. Big union/auto jobs are a thing of the past in all towns. :o( Very sad to see the economy the way that it is now.

  • but now the casio is iling bankruptcy

  • @jedediah93

The actual casino isn't filling bankruptcy. It's doing really well, actually.

  • great show, just saw it last night, very good and a little sad also. it shows you what america is really about.

  • jason here, just saw the show thursday night, it was very good, a little sad but a great show. it really shows you what america is really about.
