The way you execute story was cool, you did a great job my friend BUT please take this an advice rather than a insult.
The story is boring, if I were you, you must make people love, not like your movie. All I did was laugh, theres no impact to me. And after the short film I stopped laughing and trying to reminisce the whole story and I tried to remember something that had an impact on me as an audience but every time I try to remember a scene the only comment that I hear in my head was "SO?"

fun to watch and very interesting, also a good quality image id like to ask u what kind of cam did u use for the shooting?? one thing though i am a very big fan of short films and i dont mind watching 15 minutes of a short film as long as its in diferent scenes or places cuz a short film its usually up to 15 mins, but 15 minutes in one room talking about the same thing i found it a bit too long its only a costructive critic thats wat makes us all better. im gonna check out coupon lady right now.

This film is more different than your other films i watched.It is a little bit comic,also its a serious obsession.Camera work is looking bad..Maybe u couldnt say 'ridiculous' and' i am not gay.' a few times.U could deny everything with your eyes and u could move your arms like 'what?' or u could say just 'Huh!.That could be much more impressive and enough.And i like the end,u are acting good in this film Cheyenne.
However, the director didn't do a very good job with the camera work. The script is also a little off at times. The acting is what makes up for the cons in this short.

The camera work is just terrible. What were you going for with that? The acting is pretty bad, reminds of the type of actors in those low budget SyFy movies, or a really bad b horror flick. The cursing isn't bad because it's cursing, it's bad because the actors make it seem forced, and thus it is awkward. The plot is good, could have been funny if the writer/writers weren't retarded, and if the director could direct the actors. Being 100% honest here.

I've seen better acting in porn. Read some books on acting and practice more. Go to a theater once in a while. Writing's boring, handheld camerawork all the way - not good. Story could be condensed into 5 minutes. Learn first, then network. IMDB profile, Jesus Christ... But then again, for a college student film it's not that bad.
The acting suffered a bit here, which is usually the problem with endeavors undertaken solely to showcase the acting. I think you guys tried way to hard.
@Cheyemos Well, I've got two degrees in film making, and I've worked for a motion picture studio. So I think I would no better than some guy who's probably not even a SAG actor. Not trying to be a douche, but yea, the industry is dead bro, unless you're planning on being a computer generated image or a voice actor. Tah tah.

@Cheyemos Well, in a larger sense, you're right it is a new age. But actors and the actual film makers are being booted out to technology and family. I think the acting here is fine, obviously production value is always a issue, but the work itself is all that matters. I have no doubt if you keep that positive mental attitude you'll go far. Excellent, yeah you're very right about production value although when you have a 200$ budget, as we did on this film, sometimes you get what you get, but it's something that we've worked on to better in our next couple of films. pretty good production valujes for a low budget film dude, the sound was top notch, the angles were great, if i have one thing to be critical of tho its the angles during the intervention, a few wides would have been nice, the acting was fairly good, comedy probobly being one of the hardest things to pull off.
overall it was a surprisingly good story, i really enjoyed it!
I love this aside from the horrendous camera work.

I've seen better acting in porn. Read some books on acting and practice more. Go to a theater once in a while. Writing's boring, handheld camerawork all the way - not good. Story could be condensed into 5 minutes. Learn first, then network. IMDB profile, Jesus Christ... But then again, for a college student film it's not that bad.

The acting suffered a bit here, which is usually the problem with endeavors undertaken solely to showcase the acting. I think you guys tried way to hard.

@Cheyemos Well, I've got two degrees in film making, and I've worked for a motion picture studio. So I think I would no better than some guy who's probably not even a SAG actor. Not trying to be a douche, but yea, the industry is dead bro, unless you're planning on being a computer generated image or a voice actor. Tah tah.

@Cheyemos Well, in a larger sense, you're right it is a new age. But actors and the actual film makers are being booted out to technology and family. I think the acting here is fine, obviously production value is always a issue, but the work itself is all that matters. I have no doubt if you keep that positive mental attitude you'll go far. @TheGreenPlague Truly, but I can see your point about technology etc., it seems the more you work in the industry in whatever capacity the more you realize it's about 'who' you know. Excellent, yeah you're very right about production value although when you have a 200$ budget, as we did on this film, sometimes you get what you get, but it's something that we've worked on to better in our next couple of films. A positive attitude is always a plus, for sure! Thank you, good luck to you as well.

Although, I am curious as to EXACTLY what you mean by 'dead' when refering to the film industry, as I think it's just coming into a new age with the digital revolution in film making, so I guess it's just different perspectives. If i was jake I would be so pissed off that I choke every single one of them and then... start throwing the chair to their heads so they bleed. But this is not a real life situation? who the fuck over reacts like that (some people) maybe. But really I would be pissed off. But in all great acting..

pretty good production valujes for a low budget film dude, the sound was top notch, the angles were great, if i have one thing to be critical of tho its the angles during the intervention, a few wides would have been nice, the acting was fairly good, comedy probobly being one of the hardest things to pull off.
overall it was a surprisingly good story, i really enjoyed it!
