I study under a WTF 8th Dan Grandmaster, a native of South Korea. Her technique is nearly flawless. The punches are the height of her solar plexus which is the proper height. Her speed and precision of technique are amazing. It should be no surprise based on where she is studying.
how old was ur grandmaster? i remember studying under grandmaster Chun woo Lee. Its been years since i've seen him but i do remember he was alot higher than 10 dan.
I want to refrain from being a smart-ass, and I seriously mean no harm in what I'm going to say, but these are just a few suggestions I would do to improve the poomsae.
I would punch a slight bit higher, and for the 2 elbows hits, I would extend a little further to show the hit in more detail.
I'm not a big pro of Tae Kwon Do, I'm only 2nd Dan, and I just want to give my ideas. If you think you could give me advice for when I do mine, I would highly like it.
Well I bet this is the first "new" Korean style poomsae you have seen? In this style (the WTF Competition poomsae) this is actually a VERY good performance... What are so bad with the kicks\hits? And if you can do better please put a video up here:-)
She is not out by much if you put the 5 inch disc down very good
