  • Damn!!!!!! Never get tired watching this video. Brings backs wonderful memories. Go John.

  • ele e o maior ator do mundo

  • Thanks for uploading. This brings back wonderful memories of the time I was 18. When this came out disco hit the roof. This kind of music was everywhere and the teens all wanted to be able to dance like Travolta (myself included). There even was Dance Fever on TV with Denny Terio as host (any of you folks remember that 30 minute show?). How I miss those days.

  • we watched this movei in our arts class i dunno why but it was awesome :D

  • Dude, im 1 year old. i just got born and i like this music.

  • 60s and 70s music has been the best for me. I guess it's memory that make it best because I lived it.

  • Классный фильм! саундтреки вообще душевные!!!

  • This was done in Brooklyn, NY

  • Disco is very nice. The beats are so cool & touching. Although I was born in the 1997, I really enjoy it! But I seriously do not know what was about the Disco Demolition Night. What explosion of Bee Gees albums? Can anyone explain to me? Please.

  • @rocky96191 A radio station hosted a bonfire at a baseball field in which disco records were burnt. It was ugly, stupid, and ridiculous. Luckily, great dancing never goes out of style, and the Bee Gees were brilliant.

  • @ConstanceComet Was this done in the same town that FOOTLOOSE was supposedly in?

  • @ConstanceComet What the fuck?

  • @ConstanceComet No way....

  • @ConstanceComet Well, that is terrible, I'm shocked and saddened by that stupidity.

    Great music will live forever.

  • @ConstanceComet +100 for your reaction!

  • i dont even know you, i love you, i am so sad right now in my life, and you made me smile, because this is my all time fav movie,,,,,,,,,god bless you,,,,,,,,you did an awesome job

  • @tashannam1 You can buy it on dvd for like 2 bucks used at Amazon, add 3 dollars postage to that and you got 5 bucks, delivered to your door, you can watch it as many times as you want and with much better quality than you'll get on your computer screen. What are you too cheap to spend 5 bucks ?

  • I remember being 18 when my friends and I saw this movie at the theatre when it first came out. We coiuld not believe how the movie depicted what we were already doing every Friday and Saturday nights at the disco's. We were dressed to kill and knew many dance moves depicted in the movie. I was 18-19 years old. Funny now that John Travolta lives just 9 miles down the road from me now!

  • @fenderbender716 do you ever get a chance to see him when he isn't busy ? my condolences to him and his family on the passing of their son. In a sense, i have an idea of how his son may have felt in the sense of having seizures, they are NOT fun to have, especially the grand-mal type, i had them before, and after the seizure, all the muscles in the body just stiffen up and it makes it hard to move any part of the body. Even moving a finger can sometimes be limited due to the pain.

  • As you would imagine, he flys in and out of his home as he lives on a private airstrip. We all know when he is taking off or landing! Yes, the loss of their son Jett was painful as you can imagine, but glad they were able to do it in peace as our community was gracious enough to back off during this process. John has Kelly can be seen at Walmart/Target/Kanes Furniture/Red Lobster/Local eateries, etc. They are regular, common folks actually. Give to local charities, have fan events, etc.

  • @fenderbender716 it's sad for most who don't understand it to actualize, that they're just regular folk like the rest of us, about the only aspect of them that is different is their type of employment which centers the `public eye' on them.

  • I WISH THIS CAME IN A LITTLE BETTER SO I CPULD GET A REAL GOOD LOOK AT JOHN LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM

  • I could see myself in that generation even tho Im 20. looked really cool and classy compared to today.

  • @Shinsama87 most of today's generation is shot.

  • I remember when the movie premiered, the music sounds good as it did back then!

  • HE WAS HOT BACK THEN MAN HE COULD DANCE AND LUV THE BEE GEES

  • I'M 13 AND I WANT TO WALK AROUND TOWN TO THIS BUT I WOULD GET CALLED A FAG AND GET BEAT UP IN SOME ALLY. I HATE MY GENERATION!

  • @FJSTUFF1 Hey listen, you sound like youre a smart and cool guy...screw that assholes that donbt understand, man. trust me...I lived this time and it rocked! music and stuffs SUCKS today compared to then, bro...you got good taste! btw..how did your Halloween costume come out?

  • @John22133 Pretty awesome!

  • @John22133 It went awesome!

  • @John22133 it went good!

  • @FJSTUFF1 Hey glad to hear that. Halloween is probably my favorite holiday, that and the 4th of July. I work in the film industry, I so special effects in movies and TV.

  • brings back memories of the 2001 Disco in Brooklyn where this was filmed. I loved how the dance floor lit up. People who danced to disco, also loved rock and roll music too, soul, funky music and rap. Soap Factory Disco tv show had the lit up dance floor too. Loved it.

Fun to dance on. I wonder if they exist anynore?

  • @kathy07002 I agree. We had great discos in Fort Worth, Arlington and Dallas Texas at the time. They all had lit up dance floors and put powder down so we could slide! I do remember alot of our group loved rock-n-roll too. Only time I can find this type of fun is on cruise ships and at weddings! Fun, fun times we had.

  • very nice congrats for this video.

  • The disco generation was the best.

  • In that time Disco was consider Garbage music maybe 20 years from now rap woul be consider beautyfull

  • Filmed with a calculator.

  • hahaha! even though i was born roughly 15-20 years after this came out, you could say I grew up with this type of movies/music due to the fact that my dad is a huge fan of the 70s and 80s, and now I much preffer to listen to this than to today's music

  • SunShine1732 👍

  • Thumbs up for the dance moves at 4:29 - 6:34!! Love it!

  • Great Travolta show, throwing clothing also so good! Especially the shirts.

Every time has his own details...Disco ball so unforgettable!

  • 5:24 Human (Alliance) dancing in World Of Warcraft

  • I am from Ohio, live in France now, and lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn for a long, long time. The disco years were fun but the times were very hard. It was a very dark time and the reason people went out is cuz their home lives were so dreadful. They sure could not entertain, so we all went out! I loved it. I was both a punk and a disco person. It was usually thrilling. I loved Studio and Xenon was good, too!

  • the present is not so bad i mean we got justin bieber right ?

  • Too many dicks on the dance floor.

  • asi me la vacilo yo

  • @carloselbuenaso77 Si, como no xD

  • Im young but I like this movie.

  • @Gamers772 you're burt young

  • @illuminatioracle rotfl:P

  • @Gamers772 Hey, good for you, my friend! You might be young, but youre a young guy with TASTE...unfortunately which is sorely lacking in most of your generation. Kudos to you.

  • @John22133 Taste is a socially defined construct, i bet your parents said those same exact words when you were young and the guys from Beethoven era prob think we are salvages. The problem with the "good o'days" logic is that it discourages innovations and prevent progress. Though i must admit, not all progress are good, but have faith, it just might take a little longer :D

  • @akademiks21 Every aspect of taste, from what you eat to type of underwear to what muse-ic you enjoy is conditioned 24/7 by mass media. Disco wasn't 'progress,' disco was a hedonistic dance fad originating in the gay community that was deliberately promoted into the mainstream, especially to women tired of stupid hippies who couldn't dance. Except for the Bee Gees & a few others who transcended the retarded 4-on-the-floor beat, it was all force-fed barf that was thrown up & abandoned by 1981.
