  • Really good, if only i could program :D

  • where can i download this?

  • @AjourChannel its a professional tool you cant just download it....

  • uhh...(mind blowed up ,but i'm actually saying awesome!!! 100/0,000000001)

  • Wow your artwork is amazing...

  • и это какую то сраненькую 2д аркаду. а что ж с 3д игрой будет))

  • I love your sprite style, it's so free. Doesn't follow a formula, just drawing at pixel depth. I love it.

  • You said you used Game Maker to make this game, what do you think of it as a tool, what types of games is it appropriate for, what other programs and programming can you use with it?

  • @SnorreKim I think game maker is pretty awesome. It's really hard to say what types of games it's appropriate for, because with enough knowledge you really can create incredible things. I've seen everything from platformers to pint and click adventures to maze games to full 3d GTA-likes created with it!

You can't really incorporate other programs with Game Maker, as it's all one self-contained package. I use photoshop for making most of my graphics though, and then import them into the game.

  • @SnorreKim game maker is a great tool for making games

i recommend it for beginner game developers,

its great for making 2d games

it can make 3d games but not as good as c++ or any other programming language

it uses a drag-and-drop interface and it also has a programming language called GML (game maker language)

it has a great community and website (yoyogames and game maker community) :D

  • Cool game, but most of all cool video!

How did you record it? Is it like a series of photographs of the screen taken at a certain amounts of time?

  • @tinyColossus @tinyColossus I used software called Chronolapse. (cant post a link, google for it!) You can set it to take screenshots at a set interval (in this case, 30 seconds) I then used Quicktime Pro to compile all the screenshots into a video, then Premiere for some editing. You can also use a free program called Virtual Dub to compile the screenshots into a movie.

  • @retroaffect Thanks for the info, I didn't think there was such a program! Outstanding! I will use it too someday, in game jams and such.

  • cool

  • hey

    what's the video song?

    it rlz!!

  • @MoNeAsex Song is in the description! : )

  • Cool, wow how big is your monitor?

  • @frank26080115 19" I think, running at 1600 x 1200.

  • This is incredible. Good job.
