These buses were a perfect fit for L.A. transit and all the other RTS's that roamed the streets during their tenure. This was the way of life for L.A. bus riders.

Them Q112 Jamaica Bus Lines coaches abour 1985 we use and takes it easy relaxen like tha real good. them T8J-204 GMC RTS II coaches. 6V92TA plus the Allison V730 power always wons the hearts everytimes! FANASTIC filb amigo plus you is driving that coach REAL GOOD as wells!!!!!A+900000000Star!

The Bee Line has the newest Orion 5s in America, they are 2006-07 models.

Believe me, I'll rather drive old raggety buses and of course Fishbowls that are still running in Toronto than any low floor buses, because low floors are boring.

Who got the last orders of Gillig Phantoms? I thought Pittsburgh PAT had the last ones and stopped making them like early 2006. I guess Making High Floors doesn't even exist anymore as of now. Sadly my hometown in Michigan is retiring their 1996-98 Gillig Phantoms.

Actually, they were discontinued 2008, not 2007. It was also the same year that the Orion V was discontinued.

Chicago and LA both have rough streets. These Ex-LACMTA GMCs sure put up a good fight while they were in service. The last 8200s were retired in late 2000 i believe.
