Good vid.. Legato basically means long or smooth and refers to notes sounding connected like a violin or cello. A legato note in midi means that the note will hold for its maximum value before turning off for the next note.

i think legato enables you to play multiple notes and play chords and stuff.

@TANKADUB nah legato is a mono voice but instead of only playing the first note when two keys are pressed it switches into the next usually with a glide into it

when you map one sample over multiple keys is it possible to stop the tempo going up but still have the change in pitch?
