at the time you uploaded it. the reason they denied you because of views was because they didnt see you as a marketing tool. since companies pay youtube to put ads on/beside videos they have to pay the owner of the video. and when you are a partner you get companies that want you to market their products or websites and thats were the good money comes in. thats why WHATTHEBUCKSHOW makes $100,000 yearly.

It's a real shame that someone as decent as you doesn't get in just because of views. I know I remember reading that views should at least be in their thousands.

Have you checked out the Most Viewed page? It's full of spam, anime and sexual thumbnails. That's how abused the system is. People will do whatever it takes to try and get views in such cheap ways.

Go to Viddler, the staff seem nice over there. Jeff Gerstmann seems to use it and the quality is great.
