Tania Castañeda from "Los Matadros" should' ve won the award. She is a much better singer and los Matadors are great musicians.

when is da last time vya went on a tour across da u.s? nd when do they play? not often. the award should go 2 who deserves it not 2 a bunch of minors. does kxtn play vya? no. dkp deserves there spot

@clossr10 Oh really? Well actually at the awards we were seated really close to Da Krazy Pimpz, which could totally be the case. But actually a lot of the people around us thought that they were the Garcia Brothers including me. I have never heard of Da Pimps or their music before. VYA honestly got the loudest cheers for each category but whatever. Besides the point, it’s all about who submitted their ballot voting for the band of their choice, not a popularity contest the day of the awards.

@clossr10 I’m a 16yr. old aspiring singer myself & really look up to young artistes such as VYA. They definitely deserve the 2 awards. They have worked really hard to get where there at. It’s really hard to be taken seriously when you’re so young doing music. I give them lots of credit for keeping their music straight Tejano which is not very popular w/ the youth. But I’m a fan of theirs along with many other teens. So yeah those bunch of minors are obviously doing something right if..

@clossr10 their able to attract a younger audience. I have gotten many of my friends to become VYA fans as well and they all voted! All that stuff that u mentioned in the other comments don’t really matter when u actually have a following and they VOTE!!! Wish u and the Pimpz all the best & better luck next time.

@clossr10 By the way, there are other videos of the two award nominees for the two categories & u can hear the audience a little better than the video I posted. The clear winner was Veronica Y Avance!!! There wasn’t just cheers coming from just one corner or table, but people were cheering from all areas of the venue for VYA. I tried posting the links to the videos but couldn’t, so u can find them by searching “sergiojtorres" on the youtube search engine.
