The word pyramid is not of egypt origin and neither is the term Egypt.

Those are all coined by the greek historians & philosophers who sojourned in that land some 200 odd years bfore the Ptolomaic dynasty started.

"Pyramid" derives from "Pyr" and "Midos" combined, meaning "Fire in the Middle",

which would rule OUT once and for all the napoleonic dictated official theory of the Giza-Pyramids as tombs.

If you read the Sitchin books on the Anunnaki, you will see that the first pyramid, the Great Pyramid, was first built as a beacon for the Anunnaki to land on the Earth. It was in direct line with Mount Ararat. Ra or Marduk was locked up to die in it before they decided to let him out. And going with the theory that these Anunnaki were giants, shown in the Sumerian cyclinder seals, then the size of the stones that make up the pyramid, don't seem so big compared to them.

They reference galactic center and imply the knowledge of earth's circumference. They are also located on earth's main meridian lines. The passage of time is marked within clearly, just as accurately as the Mayan calendar.

I understand what you mean with Sitchin. It's incredibly difficult to leave such a body of work out when discussing or researching these topics. He has had such an impact, not discussing his views, whether fictional or not, would be denying truth from ever surfacing. Keep up the good work. :)

@Makgame look at the whole story, with all books, what Sitchin is talking about the time when the Anunnaki will return to the Earth. ZS timeline is 2195 or there about. Not 2012 as others have predicted. Possibly 2012 is something else.

Another story I heard was that when the Anunnaki come back to Earth to claim that they are our god, this is when Jesus is to return and fight them to hell.

I hope something happens soon to stop the madness going on with everything. Wars, money, food, jobs etc.
