When I make a layer mask it is shifted to the right, meaning there is a white gap on the right of my photo where the text should be. I can't work out how to move the layer mask without moving the text layer itself, can anyone help?

This tutorial is amazing! I really like how my picture can be filled with texts and not its original colors. I really liked learning how to make a brush with texts, as well as using them to fill in the photo. Moreover, the adding a mask layer, and putting the gradient overlay on my picture with the "screen" option, really enhanced my picture!
