I don't think "White Dove" was ever intended as a cover. They simply wrote a different song to the same tune; it was never intended to be an interpretation of either the Hungarian or the English version of Omega's song.

Well done girl. Really good performance. The original song is about a mystical interpretation of day and night, the Sun and Moon, here the Moon represented by the beautiful girl with pearls in her hair. Maybe it originates in the North, where the day can last for 6 Months, and so can the night, due to the latitude, and the people explained this with a myth. On the other hand all this is nonsense and Kobor just made it all up, anyway the Scorpion's version is well intended, but a bit sugary.

I don't know why so many fellow Hungarians are so mad at this version, claiming that it's plagiarism. They did it with Omega's permission, and never pretended it was their very own creation as far as I know.

These lyrics are indeed a lot more pretentious though; I am not very fond of this "think of the children"-mentality.

My only problem is that this song has nothing to do with any white doves...

It's simply NOT ABOUT THAT. It's like pulling a leopard's over a tiger...

This song is only TRUE in Hungarian. And music (as all art) is only good is it is TRUE.

Nevertheless I do like your charisma, it comes across strong.
