  • @RandomPedestrial63 : no, the airspeed is not fine, If you land a plane, correct airspeed is critical.

  • @CaptainMan117 remember: the airport is at a high altitude.

  • Wow Cessna you make my day :)

  • Hey Cessna why u not include first landing i think it was good! ;)

  • loose altitude and speed = sideslip

also keep it in slow flight your turning radius will be smaller and you can keep it slow and bring it in to those weird approaches

oh and turning will lower your stall speed so keep enough power in turns (for the last approach in the mooney)

    brad

  • @badbrad2424 Turning increases your stall speed just so you know!

  • A to high airspeed is never okay, not even for a longer runway. I'm fed up with wannabe don't know jack shit about flying sim pilots. Educate yourself.

  • @flyyves high airspeed is fine... better than stalling

  • You say your speed is OK but your speed is NOT OK !! Always way too fast !!

  • @flyyves He means that it was okay for a longer runway but he came in too hot for this short runway.

  • you have the wrong scenery and you are always too fast in the approach

  • LOL! This scenery bears not the slightest resemblance to Courchevel.!

  • @Cessna154 Your Drunk Aren't You

  • @trevormuollo24 XD!!!!!

  • the prop' lmfao, thats awesome tbh!

  • i realize this video is really old but put the aircraft in a slip (wing down and opposite rudder) it helps reduce altitude and increases induced drag.

  • lol that default scenery or courchebal is way out of place but funny landings

  • Haha well anylanding you can walk away from is a good landing

  • @Cessna154 You don't exactly need more crash outtakes, just what you think didnt turn out so great, maybe the clip recorded fine but was boring? You never know, people may just like it : )

  • omg that 1st landing was... awesome! ;)

  • 2:47 stall Win =D

  • I don't understand why all you flight simmers don't actually leave the basement and go learn to fly a real airplane.

  • @dhutch10 Because alot of them aren't old enough to start learning...? Or that it takes more money than you'd think ; )

  • lol i thinked you are really pro still you are cool pilot

  • what planes are u using

  • I still don´t get it...

What was the propouse of yhis singular video?

  • the approach on the second landing was quite...sideways :P

  • Looks good!

  • is this FS X?

when doen the new FS comes out?

  • @afcaj0od FSX came out in 2006

  • @freako1234 i know, i said when does the new FS comes out i didnt ment FS X... i have this game to so but i installed it to many times to my P key doesnt work anymore

and i already called microsoft but the telephone people are to dumb to heb you!

but is there gonna be a new FS or what? FS ultimate ?

  • @afcaj0od i dont think they will. Ive heard microsoft have stopped funds for it or something. its only a rumour ive heard though.

  • ?!?!?!?!?!??!? whats with the realistic crash physics!?!??!?!?!? can you tell me how to do that instead of hitting the ground, then saying !CRASH! with no movement...

  • Well, being a pilot myself with a couple of hundred hours on my log, i guess it's safe to say: Nice vid! Some spoken facts are a little unrealistic (airspeed), but a good message is: Don't come in too fast!

Keep posting them, its fun to watch!

  • Where can I get that LFLJ addon, looks beautiful.

  • It's default scenery.

  • no way, mine doesn't look that nice :(

  • The person who posted this has no flying time and he will be the first to say that. He has said it in previous posts that everything he does is for flight simulator and entertainment purposes only... I want to know how much flight time everyone else has since everyone seems to be an expert. And yes I do have quite a bit of flight time so before you even ask. Great job Cessna. Keep these vids coming they are a real treat to watch.

  • yep great vid, but I don't count my flight hours anymore... lol!

Ill try this airport when i get home and post a vid response

  • How Bogus!

This is just a viedo annimation. Get a life. Try doing this with a real airplane.

  • You do realise that Cessna154 does specialise in Flight Sim videos. Calm down.

  • 2:16 "the airspeed is ok for this aircraft" ... did u even know how you must "READ" the airspeed indicator in the panel? -.- look at your speed when you touch the runway - like more than 60kt from the correct touch speed for this aircraft af this altitude. Damm man, dont say what you dont know.

  • hey i want to the rocky mountains

  • The adverse yaw was kicking your ass in the Cub! Do you have pedals!?

  • I find the voice over much more intelligable at this reduced volume and bass level versus the bassy sound in the 'talking' and news clips

  • Okay um i know it was an outtake but cessna do you know how to fly a taildragger? you shouldn't even try a wheel landing until you do a 3 point

  • Yeah it makes me wonder how much real flying time he actually has. Does anyone know?

  • I dont think he has any real time flying

  • Cessna, what country is this airport in? I want to try this.

  • france

  • @fsxpilot23 thanks i will go flying there tonight

  • good luck!

  • Hey Cessna.

Given your judder do me a favor-- go into your bios and up your VCore by about 0.25 to 0.5.

    should remove judder

  • I like those "Outtakes-Clips" could you make more of them?

  • whats the plane you flew at 1:55

  • Mooney Bravo

  • ya but is it add on or default

the default looks real shitty on mine...

  • I have no idea.

I dont have FSX, i just knew it was a Bravo.

  • Nice slip at 1:23 those are "interesting" in real life flying

  • get the addon scenery and Ill give you a 5 stars!

  • crash detection is turned off, guess it avoids the annoying loading time per take.

  • Where can I buy the plane?

  • getting even on such a video more than 3000views is really amazing, its unbelievable, others work hours long on their stuff and get nothing, a crazy world it is

  • Fraps takes my FPS down to 16 or lower

    i get 60 max and 20 min 30 mostly

  • So you are normal.haha.. nice video :D

  • i love the out take vids it shows the real challenge of what your doing! keep it up!

  • What's "fraps"?

  • A program which records your screen

  • The propelper broke off how did it do That?

  • That's a feature of the payware Piper Cup by a2a simulations.

  • hey nice landing but try a shorter runnway to stop on like ygad

  • How can I do that ?

  • i like videos like this.

  • that first landing was a go around the second you were still osculating over the threshold. sorry commercial pilot, cant help myself.

  • UGH MY LEG!-fred the fish

  • what is the price of the cd my fsx traffic??

  • interesting

  • do some videos of flubbed lines

  • What kind of computer do you have?

  • its on his channel page

  • Ohhhh, okay, sorry. I didn't look at all before I asked. Haha, guess I will next time.

  • Cessna ..... I have 1 questions for you, and I would be grateful if the case you could answer that.

What should I do so that FSX is moving well without the lag.? I have a very good computer, but have heard that you should have a slightly older computer for FSX will work better. I would be grateful if the case you could help me because I have at max settings right now, but the lag a bit, though I would have FSX in real environments. (I've REX)

    Write back thanks

  • change your graphics card settings to performance optimized :)

  • cool video

  • Do look into GameCam.

It does have it's own problems, but it is VERY high-performance. (The problems pertain to key-bindings and interface... the functionality program itself outclasses fraps IMO.)

(and get a trackIR already! ;)

  • That first landing was hilarious!

  • Yes it was, that is why I included it.

  • @Cessna154 Yeah, see what happens when you stick your nose into someone's business? You get a prop strike xD.

  • Hmm, seems they do mean it, when they say, low tail or 3 point landing only with tundra tires..

  • There are several good freeware versions of the airport for fsx

  • Great video Cessna

  • thanks!

  • [BLOOPERS]

  • Why doesnt the runway slope like real life???????????

  • its because its default, all of the runways are flat. you have to get a payware package of the airport for the runway to slope like in real life.

  • Hi you know there is a beautiful scenery of Courchevel by LLH Realistic, with the true runway it's really frendly to play with it. FlightSimXHD =)

  • Superb video as always!

  • i think this video is great...it shows that the best of pilots still make mistakes..

  • it also shows that this airport is a pain in the ass, lol.

  • Microsoft Doesnt makes the realistic Hill in Real on Courchevel.

So FS2004 Also have it[I Think so?!]

  • how do you crash and the software dosnt say crash?

  • Go to settings on fsx And put All Realisim settings down

  • If you're using FSX, on the main menu when you first start it up, go into the settings tab and click the 'realism' button, then in the popup in the 'crashes and damage' area, click 'ignore crashes and damage', then the sim will ignore crashings. there are also various other things in this menu that can disable realism effects

  • thanks man

  • What's the last plane?

  • its the fsx dafualt glider.

  • u know how u have to land like sorta a u turn well cant u just fly straight in over the mountians?

    but anyway nice vid

  • Your the worst pilot I've ever seen on youtube. You have to like do it 60 times to get it right?????

  • Pardon? Courchevel isn't exactly an easy airport to land at. Puls, there are much worse pilots on Youtube, uploading videos of them plowing nose first into the ground at 700 MPH, going "OMG guiz luk at dis best landign evar!!!1!111!"

  • You're funny. I will let me videos speak for themselves. An outtakes video will naturally feature failed attempts.

  • Id like to see you do it then with 1 take and get it right.

  • @Petsku333 your face is the worst ive seen on youtube

  • lol, you guys notice how Cessna154 won't even try to pronounce this airports name? :D Both in this video and the other one, he only says the airport code, and "this unique aiport" haha :D

  • He wont even try to pronounce it :P

  • exactly :D

  • I watched a handful of videos where people did pronounce it (travel videos and other assorted info videos) and every time it was pronounced differently...

  • heh ok man :)

  • Nice to see an honest genuine video , cessna

  • Great video! Looking forward to more outtakes in the future! Forever subscriber :)

  • Man, Your FSX videos are so unique! I've never seen FSX outtakes before

  • nice vid, for some reason on fsx i find it easier to fly the big jets then i do to fly the little turbo props and stuff

  • u might be able 2 stop better if u had some addon scenery which models the slope on the runway in real life :/

  • in in real life the trees are not there, He's actually landing in the wrong direction, on the runway

  • True! FS9 has a good scenery for this airport. I wonder if there is one for the FSX version too and if not why hasn't anyone done so yet.

  • The tall trees wouldn't exist right behind the runway in real life wouldn't they? And to get rid of them you can just lower your autogen density in the options

  • Looking forward to other out take videos.

  • i miss your old videos. before you got involved with a2 sim and started these new series.

  • I've been involved with many other add-ons from several developers long before A2A such as Captain Sim, FS Dreamscapes, and Real Environment Extreme and even Logitech. I know I bring a lot of variety to my content.

  • i find it interesting that you put your settings so that you can't crash. i guess it's better for live stuff so you don't have to reload every time (i hate when that happens) keep going with the outtakes!

  • It is too time consuming if I need to reset the sim after every crash or hard landing...

  • i guess perfect pratice makes perfect. i also have my issues landing there. thanks for your outatkes. hopefully i would get to see more of them in the near future.

  • you should use fs recorder you can record your whole flight so you dont have to worry about fraps and stuff while your flying

  • I always record my content live - it is what makes my content different.

  • yes sometimes i record live as well

  • i was wondering where to get fs recorder. does it come with the game or do you have to download it. thx

  • go to the fs recorder website (google)

  • google fsrecorder. i think its the first link

  • cessna i got question answered on plane crashes slightly.

  • did gateway ship windows 7 free upgrade yet

  • did micorosfot send the windows 7 free upgrade yet to people did any1 get it

  • I got my Dell one already, but HP hasn't shipped mine yet.

  • the approach done on 1:37 is the easiest approach. Tried it couple times but those trees sometimes ruin everything >.>

  • Damn hiccups are gay, especially when landing at some point

  • O WOW! would love to see some gliding videos! also just thinking. cis it possible to get your hands on an ultralight model and make a vid with it?

  • great idea this will so that ll pilots do make mastakes and evry one is not perfect

  • Use the Twin Otter or a Helicopter...

  • do you know if windows 7 is okay to run with FSX?

  • yes... on the fsx box it says designed for windows...so yeah it will work

  • yeah, I run fsx on windows 7.

  • same for me. I just got windows 7 a few days ago

  • I look forward to the results of the F/A-18 Altitude Test & the new challenge. =)

  • I like the outtakes! That was great!

    5/5

  • Is that first landing at an airport in France?

  • 125 views in 21 minutes!?!?!? god you 're popular

  • Thanks. It is actually a pretty slow night in terms of viewers.

  • In reality these planes wouldn't be able to supply enough thrust against the thin air to take off in the time.

  • You are always fast, and high on most your landings.

  • I think you have mentioned this before and once again I point your attention to my more direct approaches. Take a look at the Miami video for example.

  • I will have to give it to you on the Miami video. Looks like an excellent landing. I couldn't tell the speed but from how much you floated, probably near proper speed. On this video, I can't really say anything about the height because of the approach(which is probably not done in real life) but the speed looked very high on all the approaches.

  • The speed was high on approach because the altitude of this airport is so high. Remember the "laws" of flight and the effect altitude has on an aircraft; especially the type of small single prop aircraft used in this video.

Thanks for watching the other video as well.

  • Remember my takeoff attempt in the Final Cut of this video? Result was a crash...

  • Not sure of the legal side of that option. I've considered it though.

  • i tried it...i couldn't land...i actually found it easier to land coming beside the trees...theres and open spot(if ur coming in) to the left of the runway...u can fly right through and land...i crashed like 30 times...

  • OMG!! i was first!!!!!

  • ps...i had snow and fog...so...it was a little harder...has anyone noticed that if u leave the default weather on theres a terrible cross wind...

  • i smell a fail lol

    first!!!

  • Extreme yaldy boom time.
