soy ateo ok primer punto es que sí este mundo dominara el ateo los candidatos ateos serían, pero en un mundo donde los logros y cosas lindas selas damos a seres imaginables dominan la religión la política y la religión van de la mano una se ayuda a la otra esto es un juego nada más.

No solo los presidented tienen esa "conexion con Dios" de la que tu hablas, tambien los documentos que fundan el govierno de este pais. Por ejemplo el priamble de la constitucion que promete "asegurar las BENDICIONES de la libertad para nosotros y nuestra prosperidad."

En realidad esto nada mas a servido como excusa para MUCHAS injusticias echas por EE. UU. como en el caso de los Nativos Americanos que fueron despojados de SUS hogares, porque los estadounidenses clamaban haber sido escogidos por DIOS para tomar poder de esas tierras. Y a tu pregunta, no no creo en Dios y tampoco creo que los presidentes que an sido responsables de muertes injustas, o cualquier otro acto de injusticia (o sea todos) sean realmente muy devotos a "Dios."

@lonniegallam Yo se que 'blessings' no siempre tiene ese significado, pero en el tiempo cuando fue escrita la constitucion muchos practicaban algun tipo de religion Cristiana. Una persona que no es religiosa no usa esa palabra. UY! Nada mas me equiboque con una letra :) va mejorando mi espanol.
