Awesome BBQ. I ate there a few months ago and Barry sat with my kids and I and gave us extra things to try. His passion for BBQ pervades everything he does...
I add Portobello mushrooms to my beans in addition to onions. If you haven't tried this, give it a try. Very good. Cook my beans on the grill, indirect heat, hickory smoke for about 3 hours.
Great food. Barry is a nice guy. He talked with my family inside and outside of the restaurant about food and local pool halls. Bring Smoque to Milwaukee and it will be a success.

Geez no wonder america is fat! the portions are huge! I was brought up not to over indulge like that. The guy is so skinny because he knows that crap is unhealthy.
i just went there last night, and I am IN LOVE. the quality of the brisket is almost too good to believe. it reminds me of a week i spend in Austin eating nothing but barbeque a couple of years ago.
So Humble. "Just Trying To Make Good Food". That's why your place is soon to be #1 if it's not already. Keep up the good work Steve. Wish I could afford a franchise.
Looks better than Famous Dave's...IM GOING!!! I Love my City!

I'm a 5-8 160 pound guy so I'm built decently. That said, I'd rather be fat and happy than too thin and miserable.
Smoque rules!

Yeah, Id like to be as skinny as one of those militant commie kids in africa or mid east.
Hey, maybe we should all do this just so you, rubi7711 can personally be happy! :D
go f*ck yourself you whiny b!tch and worry about how you express your own Freedom of Speech instead of deciding for others you hypocrite!

Great BBQ is not just from the South. Look at West Texas BBQ in Jackson, Michigan. They've been cooking brisket since 1985. Awesome BBQ.
