This Doc sucks! I will always remember Jerry for moving my life and millions of o3.Neilther dead heads to many great places in space. Not the whore that he married in the late part of is life. I met Deborah and Jerry backstage at Buckeye Lake '94. Jerry was side stage watching the opening band, Traffic, and enjoying the hell out of it. She grabbed his arm and said 'lets get outta here". What do you mean by "accept?" I know it is a fact she was married to him when he died, but what else? I just don't see any real similarity between her and Yoko. People give her so much stuff. I'm not saying you think this, but "broke up the Beatles?" Get real, folks. The Beatles were spent. What happened with Kahn? Was it kind of like the way Rock Skully wasn't allowed in the funeral. I know the band saw them both as a bad influence on Jerry with the drugs. Koons is so in a league of her own.

As I've pointed out, I loathe DKG. She is a wicked witch and I don't like the way she treated MG nor John Kahn when Jerry checked out. Certainly Kahn & Garcia weren't good influences on each other, but nonetheless they were brothers in spirit and musical collaboration and for Koons to have attempted to have prevented Kahn from attending Jerry's services was just wrong. My analogy to Yoko Ono was that no one liked her, but in hind site, compared to Koons, Yoko didn't seem that bad.

If I'd had the pleasure of meeting the Man, I would have politely concealed my disdain for his wife from him. I know she didn't allow Rock Skully or Dan Healy in there either and I figured that he must have been another one left out. That's really messed up. I understand now what you're saying. No, I wouldn't have said anything negative to Jerry about his wife. None of my business. I hadn't heard anything about Koons until after Jerry died.

From what I know, I think Yoko is not bad Just watching this documentary, you can see how...I don't even know what word to choose to describe Koons. She seems very hateful and self-centered. Too bad Brigid Meier didn't last. I don't really know these people personally and don't know what their relationships were like with Jerry, but seeing this and all the other things I've seen and read, the people that Jerry were close to should have been part of the service to say goodbye to their friend.

The one thing I am absolutely sure of is, I feel totally blessed to have lived through the age of GD, JGB...all of it..G&K, BWB, OITW.. I don't know - I haven't been interested in the more current offshoots or anything really in the last maybe 13.5-19.5 years *(personal taste) But long live the recordings!

Well I'd say anything that was a bit rare and live. Something from a dick's picks that corresponded to the era they were discussing would have worked for me.
