@Toxicmoose1 well to tune your kit u need a tuning key, then around the edge of all the drums there are small bolt-esque kinda things, just give each of them a tighten untill it is reasonably tight and they all sound better

that you hit other places than the middle of the drum doesn't mean that you're a bad drummer? The snare has different sounds depending on where you hit it.. listen to some solo's then you can see and hear that they don't hit the snare the same place all the time..
