@Augustweisz Discomfort and mental anguish is par to the course for all amputees, at least in my (admittedly limited) experience.

Would you rather they let the turtle die of infection? Or Euthanise it? (though if you are anti tampering you would be against this as well surely) I know most people would rather live with some discomfort than die, I cant imagine it would be much different for a turtle.

Also, if what Goose says is true, Demendez is an untrustworthy cunt, dont know if it is though

I find a slight problem with this caster, it can not adjust in height, and the way it is mounted.

First, a pad that has very low friction might be better than a wheel.

This would allow for unrestricted movement, and would be easier to mount.

I am thinking a very slick section of plastic that is somewhat flexible, perhaps a teflon wear surface and a sponge like section between it and the shell?

Failing that, have the caster mounted in such a way that the height is spring loaded?
