I'm italian and I live in Italy. We don't call it Marina this sause, it hasnt a specific name. Where do you Americans and Engiish have found this name? We never say "marinara", "marinara" here in italy is only a type of pizza
ANYONE KNOW WHERE YOU CAN STILL BUY THIS SAUCE ?? I TRY CLICKING ON THEIR WEBSITE WHICH SEEMS TO BE CLOSED DOWN, AND IT ALSO SEEMS THAT MY LOCAL GROCER( PATHMARK) IS NOT GOING TO BE CARRYING THE SAUCE ANYMORE ONCE THE EXISTING STOCK IS GON . I DONT UNDERSTAND, THIS IS SOME REALLY GOOD SAUCE ESPECIALLY THE VODKA . IT WOULD BE A SHAME !!
i tried it and i'm addicted!!! cooking since i was 13 (100% neopolitan) . sometimes i buy jar sauce when i'm in a rush but NONE is as good as this sauce. i'm telling all my italian friends to buy it. It real sauce!
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SAUCES I HAVE EVER TASTED !! THIS MAN KNOWS HIS STUFF, I TOLD MY WIFE(and we are italian) THAT SHE DOES NOT NEED TO MAKE SAUCE ANYMORE AS THIS IS JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN HERS ! THE VODKA SAUCE IS AWESOME TOO AS WELL AS HIS PASTA PRODUCTS .ALTHOUGH THE SAUCES ARE A LITTLE COSTLY, THEY ARE WELL WORTH IT, EVEN BETTER THAN RAO'S . GREAT ACTOR, EVEN BETTER SAUCE MAKER !!
I love Paul Sorvino! And his ingredients are exactly what goes into my great grandmother's...no onion or any of that stuff...just good oil, fresh garlic and basil, and San Marzano tomatoes from sunny Italy.
Ho visto questo spot e appena fatto la salsa

But the question remains- will Rotti Largo leave his tomato sauce recipe to Pavi or Luigi?
