Great vid Nick. Wow, you were really sore there at the end. I wish I could do that but I have too many worn out body parts already, LOL. I did run track in High School. My biggest claim to fame is a 4:59 mile. Maybe someday you could run a minor marathon where you weren't concerned about your time or even finishing. You could slack off and interview a few of the stragglers in the back of the pack as you were running with them. Might make for an interesting vid.
Thanks! This marathon actually was not that bad. I recovered quickly. My first marathon I was in A LOT of pain and my muscles were useless for about three days. I couldn't flex them or anything. It takes about two days for my brain to make my muscles move again. I think that's a sign I should not be running marathons! I almost brought my camera with me this time but I didn't want to run for 3 hours with it.
I never really get real into racing during marathons. I enjoy them and have fun with the crowd. I love the crowds especially the kids that come out. They get so excited if you run by and slap their hands. Marathons are filled with a lot of experiences.
Thanks. It is far so I think you have to be a little crazy to do it. People have good reasons for doing it though. I really enjoy the people that come out to watch. They really make it special.
Glad you enjoyed training with me! I've been well. I've just been resting some and doing a lot around the house. Next week I start training all over again for the Chicago Marathon but I have a lot of time to train for it. How are you?
Sore is good! Means I ran hard. I wanted to run faster but for some reason I died a few miles too soon so the last three miles were SLOW! I ran 3:37. My best is 3:07. I'll try to beat that in Oct. during the Chicago Marathon. Boston was great though. Running on the same course that runners have been running for 111 years is cool. The spectators really make it a good time.

Should have seen me walking down the stairs to the subway. A few kids were looking at me and I heard their parents say, "he just ran the marathon".
