I can see that they have mixed in a few genuine geniuses like Newton with a few pseudo-geniuses like Dawkins, Hawking, Darwin and probably Sagan. Sad, how these pseudo-scientists are included simply because they attack God.

Because if it is, at this point, you are the fool. Willful ignorance is a sad state in which to put yourself. Also, why would it matter what someone said 2000 years ago? That's almost two thousand year before modern science.

@opiumized What I am saying is that science has nothing to do with evolution. Read A. E. Wilder-Smith's book "The Natural Sciences Know Nothing of Evolution". You will learn something if you do.

@thechessstick I will check it out, thank you for the suggestion. We will see how it goes. From the reviews, however, it does seem that most people think (along with the author) that evolution is supposed to explain abiogenesis, or whatever the origin of life might be, which it is not since it is a theory of how life changes over time. But I will give it a read, and see what it has to say.

@thechessstick Hawking and Dawkins, though brilliant scientists, are simply presenting this series. Darwin, was the naturalist who developed the theory of evolution. I take it you're American - therefore a Christian. If you were born in India you'd be a Hindu or Muslim. Yet you think YOUR religion is the right one! Ever wondered why there have been so many religions? Because they're all myths invented by primitive men to explain reality. Scientists search for truth based on EVIDENCE.

I didn't know Hawking was British either, but I guess I never really thought about it anyway. I love science, though I don't know too much about one specific field. I like biology and evolution, but also astronomy. Who doesn't like the universe? =P

I'm also atheist and glad I'm not religiously brainwashed to believe in lies about the earth or the universe.
