It's pretty hard to believe an officer of the law would just randomly open fire on an unarmed civilian, especially when he knows he is being recorded both with audio and video. It's almost guaranteed that when the suspect was "standing up", a weapon became visible or the suspect threatened the officer's life in some way which are clear grounds to neutralize the threat using whatever means necessary. This video is also VERY blurry and dark, so nobody can really tell what happened.
You have to read the whole transcript. The "unarmed civilian" was an airmen who just got back from Iraq. The two got into a verbal argurment ending in V: "I am better trained then you" O: "oh really? get up... stand up..." and the rest is history. This is a really wierd incident.
This was taken probably about a year ago! Former Deputy Webb, told the guy to get up and shot hm 3 times. The story behind it was the driver of the corvette was speeding, the deputy gave chase, the person who got shot was the passenger. And he was on leave from the Air Force for unknown reasons. The former deputy has been charged with felony manslaughter and the victim is suing.

I seen this on the Today show a few weeks ago. He's not a marine but a Air Force MP. The newscast said the officer was cleared of wrongdoing but a civil suit is still being talked about. I never found naything on why this guy and his driver friend were running for. They said on the today show that the car was going like 100 mph in a neighborhood but nothing else.

I know a friend who is the sister inlaw of the cop who arrested Paris Hilton on her first DUI. He was drunk at a family party once & he made a comment on how COPS can get away with almost anything as long as they know how to properly fill out a police report. SAD!

It's pretty hard to believe an officer of the law would just randomly open fire on an unarmed civilian, especially when he knows he is being recorded both with audio and video. It's almost guaranteed that when the suspect was "standing up", a weapon became visible or the suspect threatened the officer's life in some way which are clear grounds to neutralize the threat using whatever means necessary. This video is also VERY blurry and dark, so nobody can really tell what happened.

You have to read the whole transcript. The "unarmed civilian" was an airmen who just got back from Iraq. The two got into a verbal argurment ending in V: "I am better trained then you" O: "oh really? get up... stand up..." and the rest is history. This is a really wierd incident.

This was taken probably about a year ago! Former Deputy Webb, told the guy to get up and shot hm 3 times. The story behind it was the driver of the corvette was speeding, the deputy gave chase, the person who got shot was the passenger. And he was on leave from the Air Force for unknown reasons. The former deputy has been charged with felony manslaughter and the victim is suing.

The suspect shot was a Air Force Police officer. He survived a tour of duty in Iraq to get shot at home by a idiot cop. The cop said "get up", the Air Force officer got up, and was shot.
