Any chance of uploading the whole movie ? It would be so appreciated. There is something very special when they smile at each other, they really cared about one another.
@MsBedwell ...I'm so sorry! I downloaded a free movie maker a while back, and now I'm using an iPad and can't do much with it. I can't even watch Flash videos with it. :(
Doris Day had something modern-day actresses don't have--class, standards, softness, femininity. She didn't need to take her top off to be desirable. She was ladylike and lovely. I wasn't even born when this movie was made, but I pine for these days...our modern culture is crass, violent, dirty and many young women today dress and act like streetwalkers. Will we ever seen a feminine revival?
This is one of my favorite scenes out of the Doris Day Rock Hudson collection! Pillow talk is probably my favorite out of the films they done together but I also highly recommend Lover Come Back it is very similar to Pillow Talk but it is so cute! You will love Doris D. and Rock H. in this one also! Doris Day had so much class! We just don't see much of that any more! I think that is why we turn to these movies.
I like that the song is just playing and she doesn't just randomly break into song. There were way too many classic films were people would out of the blue start singing and sometimes it was odd.
Yes, Rock and Doris were great together. ("Mah name's Rex Stetson, ma'am.") James Garner teamed with Doris didn't fall too short, either. ("Move Over, Darling" [1963]). Cordially, John and Kristi
There are so many good scenes in this movie. It is one of my favorites and I can watch this movie over and over again. I just love Doris Day, Rock Hudson and Tony Randall. They are the perfect team!
Love, love the movie so much!
