Thanks dude everything worked fine except 1 thing...

I've tried most versions and they seem to work perfectly fine except Indev.

If i start up Minecraft and it's updating it keeps saying : Done Loading.

And it stays on that screen for an hour, can you please reply?

ANYONE WHO WANTS 1.8.1!!!! Click the "MCNostalgia 1.0.4 & Beta Patch 1.8.1" link and at the top of the page click the "see HERE for MCNostalgia" link. Then click the "MCNostalgia 2.0.1" link. Follow his steps for python 2.7.2 . Then follow his steps up to run "MCNostalgia.py" MAKE SURE TO RUN "MCNostalgia2.0.1.py" INSTEAD OF "MCNostalgia.py" with python 2.7.2 . If it doesn't run also follow his manual steps to get it running. It will then have very simple directions in terminal to downgrade.

@bluecat16475 Thanks so much. Get some thumbs up for this comment so others can see it. It's by far the simplest method and it works. Cuts out a lot of the process and you just select which patch you want in the Python terminal, when it opens, click enter and you're done. After opening the MCNostalgia 2.01 file within Python 2.7.2, Just type '56' to downgrade to 1.8.1 or the corresponding numbers listed, for previous or later updates.

@TheYetiNinja My Minecraft Folder is exactly where you said to put it, but I still can't downgrade my account. I have 1.0.0 and it isn't letting me downgrade 1.8.1 so how do I get to 1.8.1, also I tried testing the downgrade with regular 1.8 and the downgrading still didn't work. I get the same message every time. WHAT DO I DO?!

@roosterboy98qs Umm... You check to see if your Minecraft folder is located in ~\Library\Application /Support\minecraft. And make sure you have your bin folder within your minecraft folder.

And if nothing is there, restart Minecraft, and play until you can hear sounds (Takes a maximum of 2-3 mins). Then check again. Your folder should now be located in your Application Support folder.

@Daftlilyou Try deleting your minecraft folder in your Application Support folder and then opening up Minecraft to regenerate that folder. This will guarantee a fresh folder. You can't always trust the force update button.

@drake2398 I would assume it would be in the same place as you would usually find it, on that particular version of Minecraft. So from like 1.2 (As far as I know) to 1.9pre2, the saves should be in the exact same place.
