Im really interested in joining my local post. Would they accept a 15 year old HS sophomore? By the time I graduate HS, would i have earned leadership despite being 1 year late?
@novie95 well for this post u have to be a freshman i think i am a freshman..... but its a good thing to get into if u want to get into law enforcement
If this was real I would have slammed that guy at 1:36. One it's unexpected and takes him out of the fight real quick and two it teaches him not too run again. :)
@kriskruse4reel We teach that because people have gone to court and told the judge that they knew what the officer wanted done, but didn't know WHEN he/she wanted it done, so now we say what to do, followed by "do it now!"
@kriskruse4reel Because you are giving them a command. Usually, shouting "Do it now" will have the intimidation effect upon your subject; also it will establish that you have without a doubt given a command, which will come in handy in court later on (in real life).
nicely done at 3:27.....spotting of a weapon!!!!! something our explorer post has to work on!!! the only thing that i thought was unnecessary was "DO IT NOW" after every command. good job guys
i thought this wus hartford ct i wus like wait they have police explore wtf

If an explorer has a license, is he/she allowed to drive a patrol car?
aamirdougie14 3 months ago
a little bit different then fire fighter explorers, but equally interesting. always fun to see how the other side operates.

you could say "do it now" instead of "do it, do it now"

Nice use of the training taser!
Chaikovskyrules 1 year ago
Why is it that you train to say, "do it, do it now." ??
kriskruse4reel 1 year ago 7
@kriskruse4reel it is kind of a command presence kind of thing, it is a little add on that "encourages" them to comply
bajj43 1 year ago
@bajj43 Heh. Only thing I need to "encourage" someone to comply is my tazer ^-^
