Kevin is very much aware that both songs are about having sex... it's the treatment of the woman, the sensuality, and the sexuality of the songs that differ.

@tandumwarelephant 5 person group, known mostly for their "bag of tricks" (remixes, effects, etc) pull off a pretty much FLAWLESS version of a classic - listen to the original and compare it - Avi's bass is OFF THE HOOK and the whole arrangement is just amazing - this performance more than any other showed they don't need any tricks to blow the roof off a performance.
@devinquinlin are you insane! The Aires were clowns that should have went home a month earlier. They got more free passes than anyone in the history of competative singing. NBC was just playing to the New York market hoping they would boost the ratings.
@heathsfavs Oh come on now. Michael was the second best soloist in the competition to Scott. They had some crazy harmonies and brought a new element to the show. They were the 2nd best group easily. Followed closely by Afro-Blue
@sfcougars45 I'll admit that Michael was pretty good and probably has a future in music. He was the bright spot of the group. Having said that, I stand by my previous statement. The Queen medley that was so highly regarded was painful except for "somebody to love". If you watched the eliminations, even they knew they should have left even before Delilah, who really only had one bad performance. Try listening through headphones or surround sound. You might change your mind.
@heathsfavs Delilah dropped off severely after Grenade which was one of my top 5 performances in Sing-Off history...they got pretty bad after that because they didn't have Amy soloing....I listen with headphones all the time actually and the Aires have some harmonies that are insane, and some that can use work, but that's because they had more people than other groups...PTX is still by far the best but the Aires were definitely second...Vocal Point should have been higher IMO
@sfcougars45 I gave the Aires another listen and I guess they start to grow on you after a while but I still don't get the second best comment. Some of the harmonies were pretty good and I'll admit, the Queen meledy was better than I first thought. Better, but not flawless. No other group was big enough to even try to take that on. Voices of Lee probably had the best harmonies on this show but they couldn't finish better then 3rd in the first season. I agree WYO on VP & A-B

@devinquinlin are you insane! The Aires were clowns that should have went home a month earlier. They got more free passes than anyone in the history of competative singing. NBC was just playing to the New York market hoping they would boost the ratings.

@heathsfavs Oh come on now. Michael was the second best soloist in the competition to Scott. They had some crazy harmonies and brought a new element to the show. They were the 2nd best group easily. Followed closely by Afro-Blue

@sfcougars45 I'll admit that Michael was pretty good and probably has a future in music. He was the bright spot of the group. Having said that, I stand by my previous statement. The Queen medley that was so highly regarded was painful except for "somebody to love". If you watched the eliminations, even they knew they should have left even before Delilah, who really only had one bad performance. Try listening through headphones or surround sound. You might change your mind.

@heathsfavs Delilah dropped off severely after Grenade which was one of my top 5 performances in Sing-Off history...they got pretty bad after that because they didn't have Amy soloing....I listen with headphones all the time actually and the Aires have some harmonies that are insane, and some that can use work, but that's because they had more people than other groups...PTX is still by far the best but the Aires were definitely second...Vocal Point should have been higher IMO

@sfcougars45 I gave the Aires another listen and I guess they start to grow on you after a while but I still don't get the second best comment. Some of the harmonies were pretty good and I'll admit, the Queen meledy was better than I first thought. Better, but not flawless. No other group was big enough to even try to take that on. Voices of Lee probably had the best harmonies on this show but they couldn't finish better then 3rd in the first season. I agree WYO on VP & A-B
