You will find that at Genesis 2:4 it states "In the day that God created heaven and Earth. This is where a literal 24hour per creation day runs into problems within the bible itself. If it took six literal days to create according to Genesis 1:1-31 then how does Genesis 2:4 say it only took one Literal day? The only logical answer is that they were not literal days.
Adam lived 930 years after being expelled from the garden. As you live in human form you decay. In the garden he was a glorified man like Christ.
Therefore, it is possible that he lived in the garden millions of years, after all it would take that long to name everything personally. Not saying it's true, just possible.
The key is Adams pre fall state one of a true glorified supernatural human.
