I'm not sure if he is declawed or not, but he would be happier with his claws so he could grab things and flip things over, and pull up that plug! Cats were never meant to be without their claws no more than we were supposed to be without our nails, eve if it does suit us humans better for cats to have no claws. It's very cruel, even if you do love your cat. I have 9 and I would never have their claws forcibly removed... Yes, the corners of my armchairs is torn, but hey, get scratchposts...
