Nice view. We took the Zephyr to Chicago then hopped on the Cardinal to Baltimore. It was a round trip in first class bedrooms. I've uploaded vids if you want to take a look. Thanks for a great video!

I have still photographs on Monon from August, 1995. My father and I waited for the Amtrak train in the sweltering heat and it never showed! We did see two CSX locals, though! BTW, is the Pizza King still in business?

@ma7799 Yes, the Pizza King was still in business as of July of 2011, the last time I was up there, chasing Amtrak.

Was the rest of the line at 1:02 abandoned and did it crossover with the first line?

The line to the north stops at Medaryville, and the line to the east stops at Monticello.

Did the car really have a back platform? I thought the last car just had a locked back door. Thanks for sharing. Taking a train ride this summer to Milwaukee for the NMRA Train Show. I plan on filming the journey.
