I brought up that Hordi's an enforcer because I'm seen him dish out just as unneeded hits as that one if not more. Obviously that was not thrown violently into the boards. he was laying against the boards and therefor it was a routine hit, you absorb alot of the hit, and maby if he was a few feet off the boards it would have been "violent". and could have been a penalty.

Rule 44.1 Checking from behind - A check from behind is a check delivered on a player who is not aware of the impending hit , therefore unable to protect or defend himself, and contact is made on the back part of the body.

Clean hit, and about the eye, i clicked on and off the pause really fast to go ahead 1 frame at a time. At the first point i could see his thumb it looked like the helmet was behind it and was not by the eye. He could have done this before the camera showed, but if he did i think that hordichuck would have reacted more angrily after they got broke up if boogaard did that.
