In trs2006, pressing F5 disabled the hud. F6 would disable the command bar, F7 would disable the little tab at the bottom right corner, and F9 would disable the DCC throttle thingy or loco info if your driving cab-mode. F6, F7, and F9 together would get rid of everything leaving only the speedometer :)
