  • last airbender movie

  • By the way u got most of that all from the last airbender movie

  • Wow! Nice job!!

  • TUTORIAL!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!??!?!?!/?!?!?

  • They should have put this in theaters instead of that stupid half baked m. night shamalamadingdong crap.

  • Pretty Cool but Could Use some Work

  • very realistic!

  • great

  • That looked just like the movie nice keep practecing and its going to get u somewhere

  • I think it looked pretty good :) and ur movements went well; talent.

    man how'd u afford 3d max? Sheesh I don't have 3,456 bucks to spare. :( that's 2 semesters of books.

  • @emostevo575 uhh.... u get a torent....

  • Nice, the water looks a little to un-real though

  • whoa! :O

  • nice work it's a cool effect

  • water water ... begone! xD

  • Nice attempt but needs alot of work still as you know. things ppl mentioned are correct, your roto shape on the body at one point was way off. The animation has to be smoother.. and the overall integration of the cg elements needs alot of blur, color correction, and grain. keep it up!

  • I love how the water came from the snow :3

  • very nice!

  • Your stuff is always thoughtful and well done.

  • hey, this is looking really good. a few things i'd do (if i knew how to use 3ds max):

-blur the water a little to match your footage because it looks a little too sharp

-if you can, try to animate the water in a way it "flows" better so you don't notice its a bunch of keyframes, try using F9 easy ease

-that effect how water kinda drops when you shoot the one ball is nice, you should have some water naturally falling when you move it around

Just a few things I would do. Good luck!

  • I liked the idea, and I liked the concept, but it looked fake. I mean i know it is fake, but it doesn't blend with the environment very well. looks pasted on. I did enjoy it though.

  • 1 question..how did u made the water ball go behind you..what did you do after roto??

  • Would look much better if the video quality would be better, because the effects are awesome.

  • just the end looks real

  • Apply a slight fast blur about 1.0 or 0.5,

    and add match grain.

    Will look better for sure

  • Last scene looked great. I don't know how 3d max works, but could you use like meta balls and then split them to make the splitting more realistic.

  • I like it!

  • nice, only thing you should do is in your animation key points use " ease in or outs" to make the movements a bit more smooth when it stops or starts. Other than that, looks awesome

Good Job!

  • Very nice!! Yeah the third shot is the best! I like when the water split into so many pieces! On the first shot I like the 3D water movement! Anyway can't wait to c the updated version! Good job!

  • Still needs ALOT more work. Nice first try though

  • @mofrooty i know but the shot i'm most pleased about is shot 3, there the water interacts with each other when it "splits" up

    thanx for the comment
