certain attacks can't be upgraded(combination attacks)

which i think are determined by the number of usages.(not sure)Or the amount of upgrades done to every attack.

You can finsh off Vindel with a hotblood stoner sunshine, sekihatenkyoken

and kirin.

This boss battle really does pressure the player. Do you

A. Go straight towards Vindel Ignoring the enemies, but take all the blows of you enemies.

B. Fight all the enemies, but in less then 7 turns?

That's what really made this boss battle epic.

If you play as Axel and choose a Real Robot, Angelgs will be mass-produced, Lemon will use a Vysaga, and Lamia will use whichever Real Robot you didn't pick.

@ssj9cloud - In SRW games, a real robot is one that is generally smaller, with evasion and stuff (gundams often) while Super Robots are your tanks, like the Grungust in SRW4. Sorry, I haven't played Advance yet to name the ones in it

The term isn't restricted to SRW games, it's a general term to represent any mecha that is made with more realistic technology/energy sources than others. Real Robos are often represented by "Prototypes" and "Mass Produced" mecha in the series.

Gundam, Macross (Robotech), and Code Geass being 3 very well known types of Real Robo animes.

Super Robos are often like TTGL, Getter, and Mazinger. Mystical energy sources or insane defense/power.

Go right through. They aren't really hard, you can kill them with counterattacks - differently from SRW AP, where they have crazy 30k HP grunts and whatnot.

Too late, I already won. I barely came close to NOT finishing Vindel in one turn. I just happened to have my units in a position adequate to execute Stoner Sunshine, Love-Love Tenkyouken, Twin Laser Swords, and Folding Solid Cannon to destroy him. I think LazAngriff is the hardest robot to play as.

You killed the final boss with nothing but three out of ten units they should have gave him about 4 times as much HP, this game is way too easy :(

Low boss HP was standard at the time. If you want a Vindel that takes longer to kill you can always play the PSP remake.

If you take certain steps, you can save Master Asia. He joins you on the level you get Shin Getter Robo.

was this game weak or what, 60 thou for a final boss? I dont think I've ever seen such a weak final boss in my life, (not counting action games since they vary on how hard they are to hit.) Your units were not shabby but alt riese Plus dygengard = your teams dead. because in my og2 I got a 7000 or so power (its maxed) and the heat horn is 4700(again maxed) and its near impossible to hit

Only on SRW D they got past the 65000 HP limit. The final boss of SRW D has 100k HP.

I'll agree to that. Also he gets 50 percent hit on my alt riese(the mech with 7100 claymore over) and which is an acomplishment since I made my alt evade oriented, the big guy that tried to absorb srx can hardly hit him. I mean I did a run on the second lvl he shows up in, I sent alt in alone and (until he took on vindel) took NO DAMAGE!!! Not even from the licheit lol

Einst Regisseur has crap accuracy compared to Zwei. Vindel hurts. Revenge, a good Melee stat, his GBA OG2 Ace Bonus was +20% damage (and +30% something else), and his attacks already hurt.

In the English OG2, from least to greatest in strength, his attacks were Jaryurin, Tiger Roar, Genbu Shadow, Shadow Slicer, and Kirin Ne Plus Ultra. Someone's guide says the JP names (same order) were Jaryurin, Choukiou, Zannei Isamu Dan, Anjinsen, and Kirin Geki. I've heard Vindel say Jayurin, Anjinsen and Kirin Kiwame in OGs. The rest I don't know, but I don't think his attacks are ordered the same way in A, since that makes Jaryurin kind of weird if was a MAPW back then.

Jaryurin:Have yet to see it

Byakuko: Makes three clones one falls down on you the other attacks from behind then rapid punch from the real one

Gendougodan: Sorta like Jyaryurin and gendudodan combined think of it as sword breakers.

That Tiger Roar (Byakko...) sounds awesome. The OG2 one wasn't that good. For Genbu Shadow, you mean the fists (should be 6) fly around like Sword Breakers, right? They kept it the same in OG2 then.

Having only Ten turns and a shit load of enemies to get through. You'd better be prepared. But of course if you have at least Domon, Ryoma, Axel, any other unit that does great damage(Daitan 3).

Should pretty much end vindel's rain in about 2 to 3 turns.

Heres what code: Kirin Kiwame(japanese For Code:Kirin Neo Plus Ultra). Think of it as Distrotion Field Tackle. Cept a bit more epic with a screen shoot of Zwezy

Thats what i heard it just means improved so it sounds most likely Kirin Kiwame.

And i think it turns gold or its just the aura surrounding it makes it look gold. thats how its originally been.

Assuming Kirin NPU is the 3800, 2-6 range attack (refer to 00:13), he can't do it since he was attacked at 1 range. So he resorts to Shadow Slicer (Japanense: Anjinsen. 3300, 1-2 range). Btw, I think the Japanese name for Kirin NPU is "Kirin Geki."

Actually, I believe it's Kirin Kiwame. Of course, I can't read the Kanji, but that's just what Vindel calls it in the voiced games.

On the older SRWs (before A), the bosses never got past 65000 HP. Just take Alpha 1 (PSX): some enemies, including the final boss, have 65000 HP, which is the max for that game. The first one (I think) that got over that was OG1 (for the GBA).
