  • @alphisutha1991 which one?

  • @alphisutha1991 Waka Flaka " No Hands "

  • Really good video! I have a '94 Grand Cherokee Laredo w/o the Infinity system and I'm replacing the whole stereo in it soon (it's all factory with a tape player). Now I know how to rip out the dash so I can replace the radio. (:

  • @fanowner12 thank you, im glad the video help out a bit.

  • @fanowner12 im doing the exact same thing with my 97 grand cherokee laredo with the infinity system

  • Hey I have a subwoofer connected but its through a factory stero so i had to snip the wires to my back speakers, run that through an rca box and yadda yadda. How should i got about connecting it to a non factory head unit? P.s. the amp and everything is all set up just gotta hook it up to the head unit

  • @pouncefox ahhh to a non factory head unit? what do you mean by that? is it an after market stereo?

  • @Knyghtmar3 Yeah after market stereo :P

  • @Knyghtmar3 Yeah its an after market stereo.

  • Hey man, any tips for installing a stereo in a 98 camry? First timer here.

  • @AequitasSaints check online for instructions. all car installations are similar in a way.

  • Best tip in this entire video - "make sure you dont cut your face off!"

  • i have a question where did you ground your ground wire?

  • @filipinokidd386 there was a thick black wire in my car that was connected to the old stereo. that was the ground wire. Every car is different, i had to ground my girlfriends stereo to a metal screw.

  • @Knyghtmar3 oh ok sweet thanks bro

  • I'm getting a '95 Laredo soon as well, going to install a new radio, thanks for this vid, it really helps out (:

  • I Was On Radio Shack Looking At The Cool-Grip 30 watt soldering iron i see you have that but wat kind of solder do u use i have 0.62??

  • @EdUaRdO83012 to be honest i have no idea what used. I just grabbed it out of the closet. It shouldn't matter though.

  • @Knyghtmar3 Ok Thanks Man

  • hey i just put in my 2 12' inch speakers in my mustang. and my radio, one of my buddies wired the whole thing wrong. now my radio wont shut off any ideas what i can do. cuz i know alittle bit on the wires but its a mess trust me :( mustang "94" 12"inch bostens 1000 walt amp help?

  • @realistniggaXD if the radio wont shut off check the remote turn on wire.

  • "OH NO I REMOVED THE WRONG , oh just kidding."

    Hahahahaha!

  • This was actually helpful. And entertaining. You won youtube.

  • I don't say lol very much, but 5:14 =LOL

  • nice vid, what kinda system do you have?

  • does it really matter what stereo it is? i always thought the speakers only mattered when you want good sound

  • @jvrG20 no it doesn't matter, without an amp for your speakers your speakers won't sound as good. so for me my new stereo gives more power to the speakers to make it sound better. for good sound its amp and speakers. of course you have to have good speakers.

  • Out of all the stereo videos ive seen, this is by far the absolute best video ever!!!! this guy is genius

  • hahaha your funny as fuck

  • @justjay760 hmmmmmm thank you?

  • my car stereo sound turns off whenever I hit a bump. what do ya think the problem is? probably a loose connection, but which wire do you think would be the problem?

  • @TasteForDisaster does the deck turn off completely? if so it might be the cable that powers it, check to ground connection too. Make sure all of the connections are still intact and they are tight too.

  • nice jeep

  • @parker1560 thank you

  • You wanna make sure you don't cut your FACE off

  • What's the song at 11:50 ?

  • You found a good balance of keeping it real....and informative good shit man.

  • @CABdosdos thanks man

  • can you post a vid of the sub? please

  • @TheMreverything10 thats a great idea. i will make one as soon as my car is clean and empty. I will keep you posted.

  • @Knyghtmar3 sweet, cant wait!

  • @Knyghtmar3 make one, i wanna see how your box fits, i have a ported sub box that can hold two subs and i might have to move my spare tire

  • watched the whole thing so funny, but serious. just ordered the same radio pretty pumped up. great video!

  • @vsportznut22 its a great radio. I haven't had any problems with it yet.

  • Are you on ritalin?

  • i was laughing 75% of the time. but im easily entertained

  • @TheMreverything10 easily entertained haha well thank you. quick question did you watch the whole thing?

  • @Knyghtmar3 yes i did and im watching it for the third time now! and im just letting you know to save you time, if you do all the wireing on the harness outside the car, then plug it in to the car, you dont have to disconnect the negative battery charge. you only have to do that if you plug the harness in, then do the wireing.

  • Most entertaining video on how to replace a car stereo.

  • @MBP6705 Thanks so much. I was afraid the video was to lengthy.

  • @Knyghtmar3 Nah, the length was fine. I just wish you had been a little clearer on the wires - what connectors you need, which ones get soldered together, etc.

  • @MBP6705 yea i hear you. I was just filming it for fun more than a informational thing.

  • You look like Shia a little from the side, and you are fucking funny bro

  • @Livingin20772 you talking about shia labeouf and thanks haha

  • where were u doing this at?

  • hahaha, cool video dude :D

  • bahaha u are so funny :)

  • @Princessbarbie717 thanks haha

  • @Knyghtmar3 do you know how to put a toggle swich so that you can turn the subs off

  • @Princessbarbie717 a friend of mine did that in his car, im not a 100% how he did it but im guessing he might of used the remote switch cable and had it connected to a basic switch that turned the sub on and off. try searching it on here, im sure you will find something.

  • how much was all the stuff?

  • and after all that work of dissembling the stearing column housing and then refastening it, i forgot to run the 12v mem wire. what are the odds.

  • @winnabego ouchhhh..... rough. sounds like a load of stuff to install.

  • cdx gt20w xplod head unit, durabrand 10 disk cd changer, new alpine 5.25s, 2 obcon 12s and a 2ch 600watt amp. i pulled the sys out of my crown vic, which hit 167dB when bridged with 2x p2 12s.

  • i get to do this to my 95 cherokee country tomorrow.

  • @winnabego its fun. How did it all go.

  • I actually know of a more difficult installation in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, fully-loaded. It has a navigation radio, SIRIUS radio, AND rear DVD with wireless headphones, all interconnected.
